  1. Wish it was that easy, after I get the OK I have to get the girls looked after and book a flight to Sydney You are one sick puppy Paul nice butt
  2. lets just get the car LOL On the Dyno now and they said they are happy with the results they are getting, so maybe I might get some results tomorrow ????
  3. .Getting close Luke My 350 was an Auto and after TT turbo, exhaust ect it was a fun car, never missed a gear change, lol My 34 will have a shit load more KWs + HP and should smash it. I just need to get the bloody thing run in, tuned up and get to feel the drivability of it, now that is something to look forward to
  4. cant wait to get my saggy old arse in the seat and get the feel of it
  5. LOL, thanks Mick, I will wait until I see the Dyno work and drive it before I pat myself on the back. The good thing with the stroker, there are many ways to go if I want something else from it , I hope not as it has cost much more than it should have It is a different Nitto 3.2 combination than I could find regarding turbo and cams and it should be interesting to see how they will go, I have no idea but it will be fun to find out
  6. Think it must be close ? Don't want it purring like a pussy, growling like a Lion is what I am after, slightly muffled
  7. Hi Mick, yeah mate it will be interesting BUT nothing like a lot of blokes think it will be, before the build we were expecting about 400awkw on 98 pump and going hard early, limited around 8000 ish. It will be interesting for me to see the difference the stroker will make from idle ? If it is not better than my TT350GT I will be pissed as my Son has it now and will stick it to me Just wanted a gutsy 34 street car to get that smile back on my wrinkly old mush I am excited to see how all the drivetrain works in together with the changes. I probably will not get the full benefit from the work, but I will try to enjoy it sent Paul an email with the short vid of the car going, he will probably say they switched the plates, lol
  8. Yeah Bob, my mechanic is a racer from way back and he runs the same pads, I gave him a choice to use whatever he thought would be best for me but said if I want to start doing some runs I would have to upgrade them. I think they were ultima Good to see it making a noise again, so I guess it could be all done very soon, but ?? Tried to post the vid , only short but still too big to download and I do not know how to make the file smaller
  9. Hi Mick, had a few quickish cars , even the 350GT with the twin turbo kit got it going with good torque to help from the getgo. Not much good having speed if you cannot stop it
  10. Backs have about 3500Klm on them, my mechanic up here just put new fronts on, cannot think of the name of them. He said they are pretty good cold and could even take a couple of quick laps but that would be about it. As I will not be doing track, quality brakes will do the job until I see what I really want to do with the car. Paul said to try Endless CC-RGs, once I am finished playing
  11. haha, I will do that but I want someone that has had these cars for a while and SEEMS to know what he is talking about to give his opinion
  12. The modifications and the ceramic coatings are done for the Turbo exhaust housing and down pipe and ready to go in . As I understand it from them, it is the last of the mods needed to put the final touches to the build and then a quick tune. Apart from a pic of the clutch, the drivetrain was finished without another pic being taken while it was up and this gets my attention, being a skeptic Out of all the builds I have seen on forums , this has to be the most boring, uninformative one I have ever seen, like "Wham Bam , thank you Mam" in slow motion. I hope the the outcome is worth it . Paul, I will let you do a test drive after the final tune and you can let us know if the shit I went through was worth it ? So I guess it is close, might have to go to driver training school as it has been a while
  13. Yeah Luke There is so much more to it , but it is great if you have the talent to do most of your own work, save a fortune and you get the satisfaction of a job well done You hear a lot of blokes say if I had the money I would do this or that, money does not make it work , unfortunately I think my my job would be very close to finished and in their best interest to get it done ASAP and get paid
  14. When I started business I kept working for a bloke full time and did mine after work, did that for 7 years, 7 days a weeks and very long days. Too many people think starting a business is easy and all you need is the money, starting is easy enough but keeping it going is the hard part. You need a skill, a willingness to work long hours and be in the area where most of your business comes from, helps to know people OH,A SHIT LOAD OF LUCK! I struggled once I got it started, making money was easy enough, went to my head for a while. But I was not a businessman type and that also made it hard and easier to make bad decisions
  15. Maybe you should open a shop, be nice to your customers, no bullshit about completion dates and bingo $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
  16. Well someone could have clubed me to death 14 weeks ago, I would have done it for all of you
  17. Hi Brett, I have to say if they did the car in the 6-8 weeks , they could have kept the farking bonnet
  18. It is about as serious as it gets, in fact it seems terminal,
  19. That would be soooooooo GOOOOOOOOOOD! But I will not hold my breath
