haha, what do you charge for a cut? It seems half retail price is the go when selling them in good nick Post some shots with the new rims, love a look:)
-
Love your car and the rims looked pretty good to me, I wonder how they would have looked if you had the spokes sprayed the same colour as your car ? Black on black seems too heavy, still looked good, but? What brand were they and what did you end up selling them for??
-
What sort of money do they charge for a set? I had the original rims, bronze I think but had the car-yard put some black Lenso's on, after a while I wish I had kept them. Looked around and bought the Advan rims, I think all black needed a lift and got the machined look and love it on a black car But buying rims is a personal thing. So I have a set of Black Lenso 18x10 +22 Project D in very good condition (3000Klms) for sale.

these are not the cheapest but there are others that are not as expensive. Not sure what it would cost to have yours changed? here is a side on pic

love that look, went with Machine/Gloss Black Might b cheaper selling yours and getting some newbies ??

yeah Mick, I already have the Haltech ECU and flex fuel sensor going in . Getrag, are you the voice of DOOM , put me down for a $100 on 3 weeks, if I just hit 3rd slowly with soft hands, maybe 3 months , LOL 345kw @ 4500, laggy heap of shit! I am sure I will scare myself,I think I have done that with every car I have owned, some lucky to get to 80mph but they could scare the crap out of you just trying to stop them

Hope you are wrong Mick, lol I have seen number plates blocking half of the grill, not only that, a lot of blokes have their cars looking great and it looks like they nailed the plates on the front, but this is a personal choice, I like it there out of the way, that's why I got the thinner style. I am pretty sure that plate does not fit into the stock location. Looking at about a week, so maybe the end of next week, but who knows. Then have to get the kids looked after and go to Sydney to get it. As for the power, not pushing for high power, just response for a DD, I doubt if it will be much over 400awkw, it was 345awkw before the build I am looking forward to see how the drive train works in together. it will be, Coppermix twin C Spec clutch, slave cylinder, Quaif front diff, trannie modified and going into the Nismo 2-way LSD. It has to drive better with the twin instead of the quad clutch as a DD It will not take too long for the final tune as the drive home is about 350Klms and I will do it ASAP and get it over with and hopefully never have to do anything else to the car

Unfortunately I cannot add to your lists now but this is the main thing I miss about Sydney, many great restaurants, wish I did not open this thread, it is making me wish I was living there again. Living in a small town for 8 years makes one miss Sydney's restaurants .Melbourne had some really great restaurants, I can only talk 25 years ago for Melbourne but used to love going there, just for the food and wines,

Well, if Slowly Slowly gets the job done, this one should be done sometime in the future??? They have been rooting around with the oil pickup and cradle over 2 weeks. I used to make Proto Type tubular products and if I was in that industry and could not do that and the cradle mods from scratch in a day, I would sack myself. If I had done the work before and knew I would be doing it again,I would have made a template so I could do it in quickly. With a small tube bender, in minutes for the bend shapes, cut the ends off the old pickup, weld the ends back on the new bends and done, of course you must do it precisely so it ends up where you want it too. Make a jig and it is the same every time I just could not comprehend that if you give a company all of the components 2 months before they tell you to drop the car off, then give you a 6-8 week build time and 19 weeks later, this is as far as they have got and going on the previous time frames for the work done, it could still take them ???????????????????????????? The other work was done on time and at the price quoted , more than happy with the results I know, "you all told me so" , I just could not believe that people in business can be so full of shit and remain in business if they treat their customers like this?????????? These people are something else, they are like mushroom farmers, we are the mushrooms. The Mushroom
