I was looking at Sequential turbos ages ago, have they been improved over the years. It just sounded like a good idea. Know anyone that has used them on an R3. The idea of being able to get rid of the lag and then boost up on a bigger turbo sounds great.

Unfortunately as a novice I cannot give advise but I am about to do a similar build, except using the Nitto 3.2 stroker kit. My car is 345awkw now and goes OK but still a little laggy as a DD = stroker. I am leaving some mods on that are there already and see how it works together before I go changing anything. Already on the car,, a PT6262 CEA single turbo, UE 260 10.8 cams, hi flow 3 1/2" custom exhaust, water and oil mods, Haltech ECU, Walbro 460Lt pump ( maybe have to add one more ?) and the other stuff needed to make it all work together. Cleaning the head up, OS valves, Haltech flex fuel sensor but will be running mainly on 98 pump, no E85 close to home and some drive line modifications. Hoping for it to be done mid December, maybe wishful thinking All the best, I will let you know how mine works with the existing mods. maybe it could be of some interest if you haven't started your build before mine is done as no one has used this combination, probably because it is crap but things can be changed if needed and sell the leftovers

Rb26/30 Build, Yet Another One... ;)
Nismo 3.2ish replied to Simonster's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Rips have put them in a few Rs, MGAWOT 1 & 11 and @ 1500HP, they seem to do some amazing things. Nitto in QLD goes hard @1000HP+ CRD has done some quick Rs -

Yeas been there. I was different and bought mine with 338awkw on it and expected it to drive like a big torque car, this only happened over 5500rpm and the rest was utter crap as a DD, my fault, did not look into it I was OK as I still had a fun car to drive, but I do not have that anymore, just the R34GTR and a Tiida. The R goes better now with a few changes, now I am after the car I thought I had bought in the first place and Stroking it to 3.2Lt I am lucky as I do not have to worry about fuel cost now and I have also found with any car I owned if you do not jump all over them and granny drive the fuel situation can be close to what you like it to be, well a LOT better. -

Yeah, after reading a lot of builds it seems the strokers are starting to be developed to rev higher as well as having the low/mid grunt. Seems the Nitto 3.2Lt seems to be a well made unit and can handle a heap of HP while revving to 10,000+ I am building a Nitto 3.2 but as a DD and probably limited to 8000rpm ish depending how it all works in together. -

Just read the thread, I see this finished mid 2011, does it still stand true that the 26 is better on the track than the RB30, the Nitto 3.2 strokers rev to 10,000 and do not seem to drop off after 7000rpm and continue to go hard to the limiter?? Maybe I misunderstood ? -
When this build is done I will be around $27 PK , only because I have not done a shit load of Klms

V35 Electrical Problem!
Nismo 3.2ish replied to HiEUmungus's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I bought a 2002 350GT Skyline 7 years ago and had some very bad times with the electrics. Turn the ignition off and the lights, blinkers would come on and could not turn them off unless I disconnected the battery. Go out in the morning and the battery would be flat, all sorts of crap like that but whenever I took it to a shop it was always OK, bloody nightmare But the more I used it the less it happened and finally it was all good, stuffed if I know what was going on??? Not sure if others have had similar problems with the 350s ?? -

From Performance Car To 'normal' Car

How is your car set up, got some low end grunt?, even the way my car is @345awkw now and starting to spool @ 3000 I could not drive it for 5ooo more Klms, it is annoying, so under the knife again chasing my wants If I were Dan ,(but being me) I would get a bit of torquey grunt going under the hood and keep it :)If you do not drive hard the fuel should not be a problem , until you want to use it as a weekender and away you go :) ^^^^^ Just read this and not much help offered sorry it is hard when you are not in the same situation to give great advice ??? -
Haha, that would be too hard to read while I have my cay in there, I am not good at waiting for anything, I would buy the second best if I could not get my first choice ASAP, so even the 5 weeks has seemed, like forever I have read a lot of builds on these sites, had to stop after I put my car in and starting to understand I was getting the mushroom treatment and it was giving me the shits, I have way too much time on my hands to play the waiting game. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next 3 weeks, that was the latest finish time given to me, 6-8 weeks ????

I have one thin going for me, I had all of the parts delivered 3 months ago, so there is NO waiting on parts, or saying they are waiting on parts. I have also had other work done by them and they were on time both times, so? Thanks anyway for getting me ready for a lot of bullshit from them as I live too far away to just pop in to see what is happening, so I can only live in hope
