  1. Thats about 775lph and at that price seems a great deal
  2. Thanks for all the info, it is a no brainer and I will use E85 whenever I can
  3. As I said in my previous post, if no E85 just stuff 98 in it. Just trying to find some close, so I have Newcastle and the other closest I can find is Kempsey up past Port , thats about a tank full to get a tank full and end up half full by the time you drive back home but coming back down the Lakesway is always a relaxing drive
  4. trouble with this Pete, they do not all have the E85, United and Caltex. I called 3 of each in the Newcastle area and nothing and Mat gave me one at Metford, I had called them to make sure. I am just trying to build a list of servos that have E85 from Sydney to QLD without driving miles out of your way. Both United and Caltex have a list but I think they are both need updating There must be members that have had a drive from Syd to Qld. But I guess with the flex fuel sensor it does not really matter as you can shove 98 pump in, all good
  5. Thanks, I called the Metford earlier today and I will check the others out. You would think there would be some in Port Macquarie
  6. haha , just 2 and mixtures, I still think there seems to be more Pros than Cons to consider but I will do it and see what happens when I use it Ben, with some orange juice the water methanol and ice sounds good
  7. But seriously I will talk to Jim about it, will be waste of time if I might have trouble on a long trip. I have looked around for E85 and called all of the Caltex and United servos in Newcastle with no luck, one did not answer so there is still a chance?
  8. Thats what I love about SAU, you just think you have worked something out and somebody comes up and shits on it,haha thanks Mick,Joey
  9. Hi Guys Trying to find some E85 in Newcastle or some where closer to Forster. Cheers
  10. A conversion As for the dyno , my car was 338awkw and made a few changes and it only went to 345awkw , 7 kw BUT a totally different car to drive, even the OS Quad clutch became easy in peak hour. We are talking about 400awkw ish on the Dyno with the 3.2 stroker build. So I can only imagine the difference 55awkw will make with the added torque/response. Add E85 and ?? Plus the added benefits that Scotty mentioned, sounds like a no brainer using E85 just for the cars sake. I think there is another conversion
  11. Thanks, I will check out the Caltex stations, I have a couple of months to search around .
  12. Thanks, I will ask around about Newcastle, sort of hoping there may be someone in Port Macquarie, if I get a few options I will certainly have a better chance of using it. Going to check out United, I am think I did a while back when I got interested in putting the flex fuel sensor in. I will talk to the tuner and ask him to do the United tune
  13. Cannot imagine driving 600Klms to fill a drum I have a good idea, all you blokes pack your bags and come over the border Oh and after we have all the pumps we need we will deport you blokes back to Mexico
  14. Thats a truck load of benefits and it looks like you have done better for me than a Google search, haha I did a search on where to get the E85 but nothing seems to be in the Mid North Coast, I will keep looking. Seems only Caltex and United sell it??
  15. I probably would use it if I could, but no E85 where I live but from time to time I will be able to fill up I want to go to EC next year and it will give me a chance to use it.
  16. I probably would use it if I could, but no E85 where I live but from time to time I will be able to fill up I want to go to EC next year and it will give me a chance to use it.
  17. Thanks Scotty As I will probably hardly use the flex fuel set up I am putting on the car, but you never know. But in a few years my Son will. I was just interested about E85. I understand it also runs cooler and blokes that use it seem to love all aspects, not just the extra power.
  18. Good choice. Seem like a good all rounder, wet/dry tyre Tried to get 275 but they do not make that size, next size up, 285 . Yokohama recommend the 265 for the for their 10" rims, I will get the 265/40 18" after I burn some rubber off the old ones. Let us know how you like them
  19. That is about 6% , what gear? would be interesting if the psi was turned up a bit. Did you notice better low end response as well as mid range? Kane are they different cams before the E85 graph? great result with the new cams Wanted the comparison on the same motor same tuner if possible and would like to see what happens with lower and higher psi comparisons
  20. That was the problem, they just about always show a lower psi for the E85 for the comparison, I was just interested in seeing the same psi for both fuels. I will go back and see what I can find, thanks
  21. has anyone else got direct comparisons 98 Pump @ the same psi as E85 ^ The only one I have seen was from Kaneryan looks about 20% more KWs @ 20psi , does it remain the same % on lower and higher psi, or does the E85 work better as the psi is turned up ? Is there a point where 98 Pump just cannot keep going?
  22. Yer guys , I figure for the little extra $ it cost me to do it ,why not and it gives me a choice to turn the wick up if I want .
  23. Thanks for that. I am hoping for that type of result and I feel sure it will be a different car to drive. Even the Coppermix twin should make life a little easier on steep hill starts and stuck peak hour traffic for an hour or more with the OS Quad I do not have the e85 where I live, just thought I would have the option to use it if I want. So it will be tuned with the flex fuel sensor so I can use it or mixtures of 98 Pump and E85
