Really? A friend of mine had an HKS 3037 on his Evo IX with a shitload of boost and made just under 400hp, but i haven't seen many cars making much more than that unless it has a built/stroked motor. As for the engine note, i think they sound pretty badass, especially with a set of cams. My brother has a IX with some nice parts on it (suspension and big brakes) It's awesome to drive and the responsive motor + sharp handling is phenomenal. We take both cars for a quick blast sometimes and, through the twisty stuff, the Evo is much better no question. The GT-R is able to keep up enough, though, and when there's a sweeper or open section, the GT-R can reel the Evo in quite easily. Both cars are tuned with light power mods. Have to agree with Iron Chef and Eugene. The GT-R is far more satisfying to me. It's a special car to own and a privilege.

Was there any reason you didn't keep it? Considering how expensive it is, i want to make the right choice..

Which would equate to about $116,000AUD. It's pricey, but the car is pretty impressive. I spoke to him a while ago, and i'm pretty sure it has a brand new Nur motor in it.

I agree, they are played out, but suit the GTR so well. They're kind of temporary, anyway. Haha. I will most likely change them sometime next year. I like to have a different look every now and again.

The guy who got me my Nur is in Japan at the moment looking at some cars. He showed me a few Nur's which were still quite pricey. One that stood out was a black Vspec II Nur with just over 5000km on the clock!

Don't see many Z-tunes around because they only made 20.

Hmm. I've had mine for almost a year now. Put on about 17,000km. I like to drive it. Oil changes every 3000km, and all other fluids every 10,000km (diffs, box etc). Hasn't had one problem.
