I want to pull out my heads up display thingy on my dash. Im over it and want to put the standard clock back in there. Does anyone know how to remove this. I know theres a plug but im not sure where to find it, wether you have to go up under the dash to unplug it. Also does the standard clock plug straight in the the same loom plug or does it have a separate one? Thanks Stu Ill post a pic so you know what i mean

Ive notices on my series 2 RS4S that my steering wheel on the sides tucked behind the wheel itself has plastic caps. Im presuming that they are for cruise control, did some models of the c34 come out with it. I would love it on mine!!

One of my close mates back in tassie did the rebuild, hes done a few of mine and quite a few that i know of. Merv gray machine shop in launcetson did the machining on the head and block. Original standard bore size pistons were used as they were still good. Acl race series mains, big end bearings and rings were used. Yes the engine is complete with turbo, ready to put straight in. All up it cost me around $5500 to get done, that is including the engine itself. have reciepts for everything. Im not sure what year r33 the engine came from but id say being series 1, around 94, 95

Its just a tacho, as you can see in pic 2 the outside lights up as you got up in revs and changes colour from green: low rpm, orange: mid rpm and red: high rpm. It also gives you a digital rpm display in red as in 3500rpm says 35 and so on. it also has a shift tinny red flashing shift light which comes on at 3000rpm, i presume its when the turbo starts producing boost. not sure if this is adjustable. Also has a red button which simply turns the unit off.

For sale Rb25 DET complete engine including alternator, starter motor and loom (no computer) was rebuilt 15,000kms ago. Have receipts and dyno sheets from 153rwkw at 7psi to 194rwkw at 12psi with aftermarket computer, boost cont, full 3inch exhaust and fuel pump. Also have had the head off new valve stem seals and checked as its been sitting round for a fair while. Also have photos taken of combustion chambers showing prominent hone marks. Hay guys, Just wondering if anyone knows the differences between a r33 series 1 rb25 and an r34 neo rb25. are the blocks the same? will they inter change heads. All i know is that the coil packs are different. Any help would be good Thanks Stu

Im an owner of a stagea and the worst thing i can hear is people saying that my car looks like a volvo. It drives me mad, so mad that ive developed this hate for volvo's. I have an extreme clutch that i bought for my vl a few years ago and i was under the impression that they where a different setup to the gtr being all wheel drive. I googled the part number of my clutch and it came up with 2 listings at the top of the page from the same supplier. one was for an Holden Vl Rb30 and the other was for an R32 Gtr Rb26dett with exactly the same part numbers. Is this a stuff up or miss print? I have a c34 with the standard climate control unit and im not sure if all the buttons should light up when its dark because only the fan, mode, auto and the dial buttons light up but the off, front window demister, a/c and the other 2 for inside and outside air intake do not. I was wondering if they should and if they are supposed to how do you replace the globes so i can get them working? Any help would be good? Thanks Stu

Ive got koni adjustables in my 1998 RS4-s and they are excellent, did have nismo s-tune's but ive found they koni's are alot better cause there suited to our roads. Give Marco a ring from Toperformance Products, they are the dealer for koni's and they are in 8 Trade place Vermont Melbourne. Sorry i dont want to rat in on anybody and its not real good for your 4wd system to have the front shafts pulled out of it. I know of a few dudes that did that to theirs and it ended up doing alot of costly damage.

Its soon time to have my power fc installed in my series 2. I was wondering if anyone knows of a reputable 4wd dyno in melbourne? Cause the one im using at the moment has stuffed me round a bit and i dont want go back there. Thanks Stu
