  1. I couldn't find the diagrams on the Brembo website, I'd say I am looking on the wrong part of the site, but I would just like to thank everyone who has provided input, its very much appreciated.
  2. Really appreciate all the information guys, it's good to hear they will fit. C4a0s If you could provide the diagram and dimensions that would be superb!
  3. Ok let me try a different approach... Does anyone have experience with the Brembo GT kit running 365mm rotors up front with LMGT4's 18x9.5 +12 offset? If so what clearance do you have between the caliper and the wheel? Hope someone can help.
  4. Thanks Lidz, Took a good look at that forum and it provided an interesting read. Just wish I knew if the Brembo GT calipers were similar dimensions to the Alcon ones. Anyone have any experience with the Brembo GT kits?
  5. Lets call it spirited driving and the occasional track day. The standard brakes are not bad, but I've changed rotors, different pads and they just aren't up to the task anymore. The car will also be getting a big upgrade in power in the near future, so I want to future proof it some. As I'm overseas at the moment I can purchase items a lot cheaper then back in Australia, so I might as well make the most of it while I'm away. Regardless of the use, I'm looking for a decent brake kit to look after 500+ awkws
  6. I'm hoping someone can answer a simple question for me on BBK's for an R34 GTR running LMGT4's Omori Special Editions 18x9.5 +12 Offset. I'm looking at upgrading the brakes but am a little stumped on the right size rotor to run and number of pots. I'm interested in getting the Brembo GT's but I'm positive the 355mm front and 330mm rears recommended by Brembo can definitely be increased, but I just don't know by how much and what ratio. I.e 365mm front with 6 pots and 350mm rear with 4 pots or 365mm front with 6 pots and 345mm rear with 4 pots, etc. (just using these as an example) Can I safely go bigger than 365 up the front (say 380mm) and then what's the best option for the rear? I'd really like to hear from someone with some experience with these brakes, what works best and how big can I go safely with these wheels. I'm also not into using spacers, or fancy brackets etc to make them work. While I mention Brembo here, I'm not adverse to Alcon or AP, but am kind of keen to keep Brembo brakes on the beast. Hope someone can help.
  7. Thanks for everyones help. I finally got them fitted and tuned by Dave, it did require the datalogit software to make them work correctly. Car runs perfectly now. full_stick - it's the silver vspec II with R34 GTR plates.
  8. Fantastic! It's a bit late to try them tonight, but I'll give those values a go tomorrow! Thanks a lot for your help! I'll let you know how I faired. Thanks to everyone for your help so far!
  9. Unfortunately I am located up in Darwin and I can't say there are many R34 GTR's running around and I doubt there are many tuning places with Powerfc software or equivalent. Which would lead me to believe I will need to purchase the Datalogit kit from NZ then head to the dyno to set it up.
  10. So I'll need the datalogit software or equivalant (what's the best one to get?)? any idea what voltage curve I should be using? Also did your car almost completely not run at all, stall constantly, run very rough on thottle, before the voltage curve was adjusted? Cheers for the help!
  11. Thanks Paul, I've had a look at the wiring and it appears to be the same as the RB25, but if anyone knows differently please let me know. Selecting the VG30 still won't allow the car to fire up correctly, it won't run pretty much at all, if I come off the throttle it will stall instantly, when on the throttle it runs extremely rough. With it running like that it's extremely hard to get a stable value in the SENSOR SW CHECK. I'm at a loss, could it be one of the AFM's is faulty and if so whats the best way to find out which is the faulty unit?
  12. I've currently just upgraded my R34 GTR with HKS Racing Chamber Kit and HKS Racing Suction Kit. The car previously had RB25 AFM's on it and ran fine, but I was reaching the limit of them when it came to tuning. So I opted for the NISMO AFM's, believing they would be a direct replacement. Since installing the NISMO AFM's I've had no luck at all getting the car to idle (it will just stall unless some accelerator is applied) or run correctly at all. So my questions: 1. What setting in the PowerFC do I need to set my AFM's too? I've heard the VG30 works, but it doesn't work for me at all. 2. Is there different wiring from the RB25 AFM's to the NISMO AFM's? 3. Do I need the Datalogit software or similar to place the correct voltage ramp into the Powerfc for the NISMO AFM's? 4. Any other idea's at all? Any help would be much appreciated.
