  1. It doesn't matter if they're R33 or R34 as I'll be changing the rails anyway. Let me know prices either by replying or send me through a message! Thanks,
  2. Does anyone have a pair of front bucket seats for an R33 Skyline they want to get rid of? Just the stockies are fine. Preferably in Vic as I'm closer to Melbourne than Sydney. If you have a pair, could you please drop me a message at [email protected] Thanks!
  3. My experience with ACL pistons is that they are very good and reliable. The ACL RACE Series are also extremely good. I've never used them on Nissan engines though.
  4. Anyone ever heard of one being undertaken or successfully completed? I've searched the forums, but haven't been able to find an answer. What gearboxes would possibly fit in an R33 to convert it to a six speed?
  5. I'm interested if you could keep me posted - on the R33 gearbox.
  6. This is a continuation of a prior thread. I'm looking for someone to complete an SR20 or RB20 conversion into a S13. Anyone know of any good auto specialists that would be undertake such a conversion?
  7. I took the exhaust manifolds off the car on my old vehicle and wrapped them and got them back on in about 2 hours. The wrap stayed on there for 12 months before I sold the vehicle and I didn't have any dramas at all. I've also helped someone wrap his exhaust on the car, depending on the vehicle it is possible, but not the easiest thing to do.
  8. Exhaust wrap is good stuff in my experience. When coating headers, the headers would still get hot and I would imagine you'd still burn yourself if you were working in the engine bay after the engine was running. The wrap on my exhaust previously allowed me to work in the engine bay after the engine was running if I had to with minimal worries. You could even touch the manifolds themselves without burning your hands - of course you couldn't leave them there very long! I find it interesting that most Japanese tuning houses and drag cars use header wrap.....
  9. Ahhh, that would be highly confidential. It should be a problem though, it's just upgrading an smaller engine to a larger factory engine that was an option on this vehicle. Unfortunately, the original owner did not option the larger engine however, so that's now for me to do.
  10. Does anyone know a reputable business in Melbourne/Victoria that could undertake an engine conversion project for me? Has anyone heard any good reports/bad reports about any businesses that have undertaken for yourselves or people you know? I'm trying to find someone to do the work for me.
  11. There's possible benefits to be made if the car is fixed, but it's a risk which way you run. I am sold a vehicle recently that was 'keyed' and I thought I'd better get the scratch (right around the car) taken out before I sold it to add some value to the car. I spent $1500 on the paint job, but it was debatable whether I got my money back when the car was sold. So, you run a risk either way in my opinion. Something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay.
  12. Revolution Racegear are the Sparco distributors as far as I am aware. They were exclusively the distributors previously, but I'm not sure if they still are.
  13. Does anyone have a buggered R32 rear bumper lying around or know of any wreckers where they may have seen a smashed rear bumper or a rear-ended R32? It can been pretty much absolutely stuffed as I only need to cut a piece out of it to repair an existing bumper. Any suggestions regarding where I may be able to find something like this would be great.
  14. I've got an Ultra Turbo timer and I want to see if I can track down wiring instructions and/or an instruction manual for it. Has anyone out there got any instructions or anything for this unit. If any one does, could you please get in touch with me as I would really like to get a copy. Thanks,
  15. I want to see about some intercooler piping for a R32 Skyline with a RB25DET engine transplant. The existing piping is just rubber hoses (was on it when imported) and would really like to upgrade to alloy piping and silicone joiners. I've been chasing up manufacturers and have searched the forums and it seems most people get their piping with the intercoolers or get it made themselves. Who would you recommend to make hoses up, or is there some reasonably priced 'off the shelf' kits that you can buy.
