Saw on news tonight that the RAA think it will rise to $1.20 on thrusday, will it stay or drop back down again?
-
huh? If only we could know when its gonna reach a minimum and buy a whole tankers worth!

Not sure if its got anything to do with the economic crisis or the public has finally noticed that the price of oil has dropped but not the pump price, but comign home today I was petrol for udner $1 a litre. Not too long ago it was about 169.9c ish. Not sure how much Premium is but when it was $1.08 Premium was still $1.20 ish. Might fill up tonight, but everytime I do it just drops more and more. I never thought we'd see it for under $1. Was picturing looking back at photos of pump priced being under $1 and telling everyone how good it used to be, but now thats a reality. So whens it gonna jump again?

Just throwing it out there, on these next hoodies I know we can't change our order, but was wondering if anyone that ordered an XL and wanted a L, as I got a L and need an XL. Was hoping when we get the new ones printed I could swap my Large black hoodie with no name for someone's Extra Large black hoodie with no name. Greatly appreciated if anyone could, thanks.

On a totally unrelated topic, found a ride yet?
-
Yes I know there's little depth in a comment like that, but better me say 'this may be true' then to keep it to myself. Kahli told me about it and showed me a txt she got from the person who got pulled over and told it by the cop.

So if my seat is worn down from getting in and out (as in, the bucket side of it) so its gone a bit flat, and if they press on and it and can feel the hinge (I take it any metal in this area) then thats a defect? I also heard a week or 2 ago that over the next 6 weeks the cops are having a crack down on all Jap imports. Heard from a cop who pulled this person over. I would show the txt message but lost it.

Whats the go in QLD? What makes their laws so much better then SA's? I think I remember reading somewhere on ns.com Loz was saying something about engineering costs, its in the thousands here but in the hundreds there, or the other way around...

Since people are hijacking, anyone wanna take me for a ride in their R32/R33/R34/any GTR? For free? For fun? You can all line up I'll ride with you all (no gay joke intended). I'll also ride in a 180/silvia. Cars must be 'out of the ordinary'. Driver also must be funny/easy to talk to. Let me know PS: On a serious note, why take ONE car? Why not get a wicked line up/cruise of sweet cars and just ride in the first one? Or get your friends to ride in the others?

Spotted a grey R33 driving south road (North) with a huge Aussie flag out the window, cruising with two other cars with some other flags.

Well looks like its started, not there, mates night tonight. But if we get bored I might msg someone, only got Adrians number...hopefully he's there lol.

Any more info on this driver training at west lakes? Looking for something like this (skid pan/defensive driver training course/etc). At the Learner Driving course place in Palkholme there is a skid pan but looks as if it hasn't been used for years, its blocked off by those huge rocks and has plenty of weeds growing.

Spotted a red 180 going up Anzac highway at the Macca's intersection, seen him before going down Brighton road. Also Kahli/Brad in 32 GTR, following a silver S15, MISS-15 I think.

Yeah...might not go as got an 18th, but having failing entering that I might. PS Crown is for sale, pics here.

Since I recently bought my own turbo car (180SX) dad has been hot on the topic of hooning. I say that its too good of an asset to me to flog it around or put it/myself/others in danger, but occasionally there is the urge to open it up. While driving on my own tonight though I realised that there is no point. On my drive home there were times when I could have done something as there was no cars around, but just thought there's no point. Its when I have people with me that I feel more inclined to do so, but after reading this entire thread and having a thoughtful drive home, I think I'm going to take it real easy. I think it was Ben who said he won't let his kids get a powerful car first up, and reading that made me think the same way, then I thought back to when I wanted to get a Skyline and had many arguments with Dad. So reflecting on this I realise how lucky I am to own my car and I appreciate it more now. By flogging it around I'm just increasing the chance of not having it any more. So I'm just gonna learn to drive it safely and smoothly, and not do any hoon stuff. Before this happened, actually I've been thinking about it for a while, for my christmas present I was going to ask for a driver training course of some kind. Somewhere I can take my car and learn its limits and how it reacts in different situations. Some people may think I'm just saying this to sound like a perfect son/driver, but I am pretty sensible on the road and always intended to learn my car. This incident just really made it apparent to me and how important it is. RIP.

Hrm might see if my mates wanna go. Mike won't be able to go in his car but Joe might in the Maroon Crown...if thats welcome? Is my 180 alright on a SAU cruise? I got an 18th but due to my lack of a fake ID I probably won't get there, this may be a better alternative to sitting around. PS is the 'normal' meet spot the same as Damo's birthday cruise spot? Oh and I paid $1.40 for Premium when normal was $1.28. Do I top up asap (probably tomorrow arvo) while its about $1.17 for normal or not bother till friday night/saturday (trying to get reading on fuel economy).

Saw this on the ns.com thread, they were saying how someone should 'drop a fat skid over it'... And unfortunately... schmenz said:

Foxtel I.Q will be set. Too bad you can't upload from there onto computer/DVD/VHS...or maybe I'm missing out? Paid $1.40 per L for premium friday night when normal was $1.28. I thought 'heck, $1.28 is damn cheap, better fill up', not knowing it would drop to $1.23 for normal. Not all that long ago it was $1.67 or something for regular. Insane. I'm loving it, just as I get my car the prices drop!

Exactly! So whats the purpose of having unmarked cars looking for defects/speeders? Its obviously not to save lives/slow people down but to wait for them to do something illegal and then reveal their presence and collect a whole bunch of cash. If they were serious about slowing people down and keeping people safe, a marked car would be much better suited, as they can still get you if you do something wrong but if the people know a cop is there, they're not going to speed, therefor preventing what they think 'kills' (speed). However on the other hand if they go about their business in an unmarked car, they will teach a lesson to those who speed, showing that a cop could be anywhere so its safer just not to speed. What I'm trying to say is that if all cars were marked, it'd be clear when you can speed and get away with it or behanve yourself on the limit. But by using undercover cars, they put this fear into the drivers that a cop could be anywhere, so I can see how this side of it works. You gotta look at both ends of it. In the end, a speed limit is there for a reason, and to go over that limit (even 6-7k's) is illegal, so expect to be fined. I have only had my P's for 11 months (get my P2's soon) and only 1 of those months I have driven my import. Only when I got my import I got pulled over for an RBT, but I'm not saying its because of my car as they pulled over a stock Pulsar but also let a clearly defectable 32 through. This has been my only encounter with cops on the road and it was simple and straight foward. He said 'How ya going mate, just blow into this' and stuck the breatho in my cabin. He told me to stop when I had done and in the mean time was joking and chatting with the other officer. He said 'yep thats alright' and went over to check my rego. He came back, asked for my drivers license and then said 'ok no worries, off ya go'. Sure I was nervous but I just did what he said, wasn't a smart ass or had any attitude and he didn't give a damn about the other two in my car (who had been drinking) and didn't check anything on my car to see if it was defectable (it is stock, though). Simple rule: Do as you're told and everything will be fine.

Haha easy fix Carl, bring down the wall and build some kind of dirt/grass ramp. + 1 carpark!

I was actually considering buying/looking at this car before I got my 180SX. Looked like a great deal for an excellent car. When I sold my first car it kinda sucked watching it drive off but I knew I made a good deal on my part and I had better things coming, which is hopefully the same for you.

Was good, until we left Bunnings and I followed the White Evo and Silver 33 with Meisters (spelling). Then realised they had nfi where to go so spent the next hour or so trying to find people.
-
Naughty naughty, just what the cop who's reading this wants to hear, they might track us down for defects Might be there in mah new car.

Yeah Daniel too busy driving it around and getting used to it, mainly learning manual. Picking up on the small things which results in a smoother drive and less injury to the neck (or spillage of the drinks haha). I went to get a haircut today only to find the barber shut, so instead of going straight home decided to go for a bit of a drive along the beach between seacliff and Jetty road Birghton before going home, just for the enjoyment.
