A Van or station wagon is Ideal.. I think my buisness partner will buy a van... I cant really see myself owning one hahah I will consider swaps, BUT it must be for a car worth less than mine and some cash my way to make up this difference (this will help with purchasing equipment, as I prefer to use hard earned money from work on my house/ family than the buisness, incase it falls through... of course) Things I would be looking for: - Old cheap car (sedan, wagon, or maybe van) - Little buzz box (mrs might like it) Price: $8,400 onro (or near reasonable offer) I Live in Adelaide, South Australia Very sorry as I havent cleaned the poor things wheels, thats why they look dull

  4. That's okay mate, these things happens.. Conflicts and all that.... You actually never replied back to me, sorted out what you were going to do the other week? Did you look around car yards?
  5. Guys, this is my thread on me trying to sell my car, I don't appreciate arguing on this thread. Unfortunately 70% of the replys here have nothing to do with me and my car that I'm trying to sell... I'm sorry, but I had high hopes with receiving an email about a reply to my posts and this is what I got? Not happy, but anyway.... Yes I will consider swaps.. PM me if anyone is interested. Plus my car is being sold cheap due to the fact that the front bar is in shit condition.. Sad really, before the knob reversed into my car in a car park, I was selling the car for $15, and I had people interested. You think I can find their numbers?? haha... So it's now a case of sell this, get a family car for work and family, and cut my losses. so matt_40rulz and Zoidberg, You's both have VT SS's hey?
  6. Sorry bud, I don't understand what you mean?
  7. Here are some update pictures of her. Sorry she's dirty
  8. PRICE DROP $11,200 THE CAR WILL BE SOLD MINUS THE FRONT BAR AS IT IS DAMAGED (however the bar can be attached or sold with upon request) Unfortunately came out to my car after work to see the front bar unhooked on one side.
  9. [sOUTH AUSTRALIA] Unfortunately I'm selling my much loved Turbo R33 skyline. Just bought a house, and looking for a family car. I purchased this car a year ago, in 2008. I also had a quality alarm system installed with Ultra sonic sensors covering the interior, and 3 point immobilisation and all the standard trimmings. Also has a central locking motor installed in the passenger door to allow remote opening and locking. The car is on about roughly 102,000 kms. I have never had a single problem with it, as it's the most realiable car I have ever owned. Nissan know how to build them. It goes fast, and it surely turns heads, especially when spectators hear it going past. It has a front mount intercooler, Apexi air filter, Turbo timer, 7" DVD touch screen, Advan Racing gold 17" rims, Carbon Fibre Headlight eyelids, Side Skirts, Tommei rear bar, 400R front bar and GTR spoiler, lowered, exhaust system. The main con is the front bar is in very below average condition. Couple of cracks showing, due to someone reversing into the car at a car park, luckily it was slow speed. Refer to pictures. I have it insured for $16,000 Will Consider swaps + cash, I'd prefer to get a decent cheap family car or a working old school Aussie car, all swap offers considered . I can be contacted on my mobile on 0422 616 459, if I don't answer then an sms would be appreciated. I live in the Northern Suburbs, Salisbury, Paralowie area. Please PM me Regards, Angelo
  10. I had a bit more of an inspection today, and it seems like the seperation I showed earlier is the cause of the majority of the gap. Where the corner of the light meets the guard shows quite a gap. If I can somehow take the headlight off and remove the lens from the housing, and reseal it, that should reduce the gap drastically.. Now to take the headlight off.... Looks a bit mind boggling
  11. Do you think there would be enough movement to make the headlight flush again? Attached is a picture of the front of the car, notice the gap on the left, and the lack of on the right
  12. I've uploaded 2 pictures. One of the top of my left headlight, and one of the top of my right. Now I noticed something tonight, can anyone else confirm this for me?.... Notice how the glass/plastic is clipped onto the black part and where they meet is nice and flush? And notice on this one how there is no clips and it's sorta seperated? very unusual.. I tried pushing them back together but it hardly budges.....
  13. Yeah I don't like the sound of it being bent... And nothings loose in the light housing as well Umm, I was told by a mate ages ago when I got the car that it's probably the bonnet.. But the two rubbers towards the front seem to have given up the ghost.. So I don't know if it's possible to adjust them at the state they are in.. I'll need to try and dedicate a few hours of finding out the culprit.
  14. My headlights aren't symmetrical. One of them doesnt sit flush with the bonnet. It's kind of too forward, and there is a massive gap. It's even more noticeable now after installation of the eyelids. Any way to adjust them? Is it caused by a poor job of installing the front bar from previous owner? Thanks - Ang
  15. Oh Awesome, whats the push button like with security? And do you have a steering lock still in the car
  16. Well after putting my car back together, theres nothing unusual. everything is just as it was before the break in. So I guess they are just extra connections. Plus the extra switch on the indicator stalk, im pretty sure are fog lights!
  17. Basically what the title says, does anyone have anything special, different or custom in their car for their ignition. I'm talking about a keypad, button start, or even a removed ignition barrel, something hard for theives to override? I had an idea of removing the ignition barrel and using remote start only but the only thing that stopped the theif taking my car was the steering lock. - that plus I've heard remote start isnt very secure because it skips all the immobilisation phases to start it out of the car.. I'm not too sure though Please share with me!
  18. Yeah you guys are right. (also sorry to hear about all your mis fortunes!) When I first got my car, my mate said "you know, prying the window open is an easy way to get into the car, they have no frame around the window like your old Ford!" How right he was. The alarm is the way to go then for a little bit of peice of mind, I'm not going to go for fancy wank modules like remote start and transform into a decepticon or something, but all the sensors, screamers, are the way to go. End of the day, people can do damage no matter what you have in there. What we need is a reflecting sonic beam around the car haha. But I guess anyone can drive past and throw a brick or something as the person above stated. I'm in the process of talking to a mates dad who fits them professionally. Just a bugger that I have to work during trade hours, which sucks!
  19. After my car had it's attempted theft, before I came out and crashed their party, I'm now doing as much as I can to stop any intruders getting into the car. I expected that they came in through somehow unlocking my door the conventional way. So I decided to go for those Security Door Locks. After hours of trying to install them, I had no luck. The hole for the door lock to go in is too small, so I had to grind the lugs off one lock. It then went straight in.... nice... but the problem was I couldnt secure the lock in place. The clamp provided was useless because the back of the handle has so much plastic sticking everywhere, I couldnt get it to clip it. I tried it all, but no luck. The stock door lock has an extra mounting area which slides over the handle bolt, so when you screw the handle back into the door, it holds the lock as well. So I guess my question is, has anyone installed these locks onto their car? If not, what's another good idea to stop theifs entering? Remote locking only, with no door locks? But there are cons with that also. Alarm and 3 + point immobilisor is coming soon too. The one that came with the car was incomplete. I'm going to forget about Remote start, as I hear that can be an easy way to crack. I will definately install a "screecher". Sounds like an ingenious idea! Also looking at one of those dettering alarms, when the car will beep or speak when someone is in close range of it.
  20. geezus, sorry ladies and some of your gentemen out there.. Brought up in the wrong schools
  21. ohh by the way, I didnt type flamen mongrels.... I'm not Alf from home and away... What I said was C'U'N'T'S
  22. Wow, the Ingle Farm area.. My R33 had an attempted theft of the 26th July, Thursday late shopping, from the Ingle Farm Shopping Centre. They broke in, got my car started and all thanks to the steering lock, they couldnt drive off. Luckily me and workmates saw the goings on (because my car was parked right in front of the shop door! how stupid are these flamin mongrels??). I was at the carpark till 11pm as the Crime Scene Investigator was dusting my car for fingerprints.
