  1. Sorry to clog up a skyline forum with news such as this but we hope that any exposure we can get will improve the likelyhood of recovering this car. A black 1992 180sx - REG. AKB-52T black CF bonnet 17" Advanti 6 spoke rims 600 x 300 hybrid FMIC clearly visible was rolled out of the driveway of its owners house and started just down the road ( he heard it start and then leave at great pace) at about 2.30 am today. The car had a full (3 yr old) Brant alarm system - just like most of us - which didnt slow the thieves down at all. The owner is understandibly pissed off - it was his pride and joy and was not insured !! If anyone hears of such a car or any suspicious parts etc please drop me a line, any communication is strictly in confidence and anonymous. WE JUST WANT THE CAR BACK. [email protected] your watchful eyes are greatly appreciated. Matt B
  2. Hey Paul + Stace Did you notice that the powercruise site does not list you in the top 4 of the street racing. The place is blank where I would expect you to be named. There is $200 going wanting there + a trophy !! Get onto it! Matt
  3. Thanks for clearing it up Steve, I have been in your situation with other shops a couple of times. The reluctance to refund is no surprise either. Anyshop would rather send you away with their product (and happy) than without. I think Hills Motorsports intentions are most likely to try to rectify any problem and still provide the product. A business has to sell things afterall for it to be a business. There is no business in ripping people off, I think once Mark returns from Japan and if you speak with him then something will work itself out. There is no gain (obviously) in them supplying you a product which plain does not fit, that is not a ripoff, that is simple miscommunication or a mistake. Unfortunatley these things are time consuming to sort out. I just want to say I do not speak for Hills Motorsport or anyone who works there. I only entered into this discussion because it surprised me, I am aware of mark's work ethic (commited - and no bullshit) and I've seen the quality that Hills produce, I had made a mental note to use them when the need next arrose. Oh and Boosted - you better check the registration dates before you go branding Newbies here or anywhere. Just because i dont disrupt discussion around here often does not mean I am new to the scene. Matt
  4. I couldnt agree more, chat to Mark, he is perfectly reasonable, aproachable and fair. Im sure he understands business is all about image (esp performance motor trade) and reputation. I'm sure some arangement could be found to keep everyone happy. I seriously question the value of posting here without negotiations coming to a halt with the business in question. Did you tell Mark you are unhappy with the job? Cos he knows now, and I'm sure he would rather find out through a more appropriate channel. Matt
  5. Hey make sure you post the time you intentd to visit. So I can come and watch. I'd love to see ANY of you try to force something out of Mark. You're biting off more than you can chew.

  9. i fitted a bosch "019" pump to my brothers r32 not long ago. the 019 is the same as the 040, good for over 450 hp easy!! any mug could change it, we had it running inside of an hour and that was being cautious, taking our time. all you need is a large hose clamp and a hacksaw to modifiy the bracket. EASY . Matt
