  1. Hey Huy, she's looking awesome, I'm sure you'll be sorry to see her go. Good luck with the sale mate. Matt
  2. I've got some Musashi 92 on hand which is low-carb and take that if I'm in a rush and don't have time or access to protein from a whole food source on non-workout days. And then keep the protein supps that have more carbs in them for the WO days.
  3. Yep, when bench pressing on a Smith. Was crazy sore afterwards.
  4. I find slow reps or negatives are both good if you've got a minor injury or are feeling flat and can't push a heavier weight; you can still get an awesome workout while also changing it up a bit and keep the body guessing. On the protein argument I've also read that those of us who take a lot of additional protein need to make sure we are getting plenty of calcium intake (i.e. through milk, or other sources, in other words check your protein supplement to make sure there is calcium in there as well). This is because the body uses calcium for protein synthesis. You don't want a calcium deficiency.
  5. Nice plates Desavona, didn't think they'd be available; they must have just gone back into the system recently after someone else handed them back in.
  6. Good point. As with any information you have to consider the source! I've found 2 scoops of Torrent is enough for me, not the 3 prescribed, especially as I often take Vitargo during the session, so that'd be way too many carbs when taken together.
  7. Can I sample them?
  8. Exactly mate. I remember the 'cockometer' they had on Top Gear but the E92 M3 'won' that one over the Audi and Merc! I don't mind Audis actually, mostly the early 2000s ones like the RS4 (both biturbo V6 and 4.2 V8) and S8, but also the newer R8. Most of the current ones don't do much for me.
  9. Everyone knows Audi drivers are the new BMW drivers. Their typical habitat is 5cm away from your rear bumper, with their christmas light look at me LEDs on. Bimmers are back to being enthusiast cars.
  10. FYI It's BIMMER. Beemer is used for BMW's motorcycles, while Bimmer is used for BMW automobiles. Haha
  11. Yeah? Was it white? Kensington area?
  12. Limited edition, 1 of 70: 540i/6 Gotta love the two-tone leather - so 80s
  13. How could you buy from Demir Leather and in any way come away feeling like you got a good deal??
  14. Nothing at all wrong with the Stag mate.
  15. There was a mint E34 M5 3.5 at the Classic Throttle Shop in North Sydney a while ago, it was there for more than a year with about $45K on it from memory, low kms and great condition. Most M5s have got stratospheric mileage now unfortunately as they're just such great cruisers.
  16. Yeah I like both of those, the Schnitzers suit the E30 and E34 designs really well. Haven't costed a shipment of rims from overseas myself, but have seen prices like these: M Parallels on eBay. I'm sure you could do a lot better than $1,300 for shipping though...
  17. Thanks mate. S54 would be a great option I would think, and as you say there'd be plenty available compared with the S62 or S38 I would have thought. Plus it would retain the six-cylinder theme of the E34 M5. an M- V8'd E34 would be awesome though M Parallels are the go I reckon: I was looking for these for my E38 but I'm pretty happy with the style 69s that are on the car at the moment. Same fitment, 8" front, 9.5" rear. Plenty of Mpar's available overseas it seems, but postage is ridiculous. Matt
  18. Thumbs up for big Brembos.
  19. Looks schmick Dave. Thumbs up mate.
  20. Hey Brad, I had a quick look at your bimmer - it looks great mate, was good to see it on the day; it's always good to have some variety! So an S38 motor from an M5 then? The E39 M5 rims look great on the car btw. I will have to bring out my Bimmer to keep yours company the next time there's a meet up
  21. I can only imagine what the 35 would be like to drive up the pass. The bends are quite tight in places which would work against the 35 with its weight and size, but with roads that smooth, and its torque it would demolish it. Can't beat a third pedal for driver involvement though
