    If you're bringing the missus there are plenty of nice places to stay up around katoomba mate. Lilanfels is pretty sweet but on the exxy side. Car would be safe there though.

    Even the GT500 limited edition LMGT model still has 5 conventional nuts underneath a separate cap that is designed to look like a centre-locking hub

    Good thing is, if you keep them in good nick, they'll hold a lot of their value over time, same as the TE37s, CE28Ns etc

    4000Nm... using same / comparable testing method?? that's a shitload more. Will be interested to see how they stand up to the torque from the higher-powered RBs, whichever route you decide to take.

    Thanks Micah. Might consider an exhaust for mine at some point in the longer term as it's also an M62B44 The 540 looks great with the M6 alloys; GL with the sale!

    Cheers mate. Not sure if Nick had this in when he did the Cootamundra runs. Unfortunately I can't say whether the car feels any quicker than with the stock shaft as I bought it like this.

    I've got a Torqline CTG one in my 34, no vibrations from the driveline whatsoever even above 110kph. I believe it's similar to the one you've quoted and similar to this.

    Yes in 2002 Consumer Reports (US) called the E39 the best car they'd ever tested. There was some other mag that called the E39 the best car in the world a few years earlier. Out of curiosity, how does it sound with the Supersprint? Much louder than stock?

    According to EVO (UK)'s website they reviewed it in July 2010; I'll see if I've got that issue lying around at home as I've bought pretty much every issue for the past few years.
