  1. Looks awesome mate. I especially like this rear 3/4 shot. It will look sooo good with a 1" drop and front splitter.
  2. It's the duplicate post thread Josh - I really like that Amsterdam one, I remember all of the really narrow buildings leaning on one another over there - ridiculous! Nick - where is that? You get a real sense of the atmosphere with that mist in the background. Looks like a cool place to visit! What part of the editing do you want to get more clued up on? Tim - *gorgeous* 300 mate! Looks very tasteful. And you couldn't get a better backdrop either. Perfect combo, car + twisty road + scenery
  3. Always loved your car Matty. Really like that custom colour. Dan - looks tough mate. That first shot is interesting, really shows the difference in front overhang and where the front axle is relative to the scuttle on the Skyline vs. the Lancer
  4. Wow, great shots. A real Nür fest in here at the moment! Looks like a great venue for the Vic SnS. Love the bronze CE28Ns on the Jade Nur. Nice car Huy! The juxtaposition of the GTR and Sierra brings back memories of '92 even if it is the wrong generation skyline
  5. Sounds like you had fun Mark. Have heard lots of good things about driving through the snowy. Would be good to do the run with a few guys from here at some stage.
  6. This looks pretty good... though a Vspec front splitter would top it off in my opinion.
  7. Haha no worries guys Should've brought my tripod as by that time it was hard to get clear shots hand-held, but I reckon the high-res doesn't look too shabby. Clickety
  8. Love the photo mate And great article too.
  9. Hey mate, I believe the car belongs to the brother of the bloke who bought my 33R, whose forum name is kamakazi1122. I thought I'd seen the plate before... Agreed, great article Nick!
  10. That looks amazing mate. Love it! Work Meisters or Professors? So tough!
  11. Just went to Kobe Jones on Wednesday, have been there at least twice before as well. I reckon you go there for the view/location and the food; the service has gone downhill in a big way though. All the wait staff we had were very ordinary, basically a couldn't-care-less attitude. Does the restaurant have to have Teppanyaki? Masuya in O'Connell St is good, and I've heard good things about Toko in Surry Hills; both are more traditional Japanese but not sure if they do Teppan.
  12. Matt - Geez you get a real sense of speed with that second shot hey. Jez looks like a very happy man too! A few of mine from the NSW Legends Night on Sunday; just in small format.
  13. Congrats again and well done on the TE37 SLs. Had been admiring those matte SLs but it'd be black on black in the case of my car = murdered out! Will look awesome on the yellow. In fact the colour reminds me of this (sorry, slightly OT): Twin turbo 6, 350kW in a 1150kg body, 11.9 sec quarter... in 1987.
  14. TIME WARP Unfortunately, the GIO GTR wasn't started up on the night, but here's a vid of how it should've sounded. Also features two Terrys 12 months younger... And a bunch of photos from me...
  15. Yeah Jamie. I found Terry's first GTR in the Trading Post; a midnight purple R33 Looks the goods Anthony. I think the yellows tend to fade if not looked after, and that one you've got there looks nice and bright. Smoked Nismo indicators, V spec splitter, and some adjustable coilovers and that thing will look mad! Did you end up buying the Omoris?
  16. Cheers Jamie It does too! A HKS Kansai strut bar! Dad's (Terry's) got the Nismo Titanium strut bar that was also with my car at one stage. Will make an appearance on his new car... Referring back to that M.spec, looks like it was making 412kW atw using GT2530s.
  17. Sorry, that's right - 2 different cars. Mine, a V.spec II Nur (one of 750), was bought by Terry Ashwood (owner of the Gibson Motorsport cars) from Japan when almost-new. So it's been in Oz since about 2002-3. There's been a 2nd Aussie owner between him and me. I added the "NUR 1" NSW licence plate. The 19" LMGT4s you see on it have always been together with the car, but it's had 20" GTCs on it at various times. The 2nd owner bought the genuine Nismo R Tune bonnet; but the Nismo front bumper and "eyebrows" were on the car from new. The car in the earlier post, is an M.spec Nur (one of 250) and I'd read about it some time ago. Belonged to a NZ owner, with the number plate "R34NUR". I'd admired the look of this car for a while, but the fact my car looks similar is just a coincidence. It has the same wheels (although the rear ones appear to stick out a bit further from the rear guards in that photo) but doesn't have the Nismo front bumper or R Tune bonnet. It does have the assymetric front bumper with oil cooler vents though. I'm not sure where this car ended up? I remember reading that it was for sale a while back. Sorry for the multiple edits, I can't post the rear end shot of the M spec for some reason.
  18. Mad shots Eric. The flipout LCD lets you put the lens right on the deck doesn't it!
  19. In that case, voted again
  20. That's right Skyline - I'd been admiring that one (R34NUR) from afar for a while . It was sold in the last 2 years or so, is that right? But that's just the way my car ended up; aside from the wheels, the car was bought as-is. In my mind, the 19" LMGT4s suit the car perfectly, no? I have some 20" gold GT-Cs which came with the car, which I'd take offers on... As it happens, my car was bought by its original owner when it has done only 3,000kms and imported it in 2003, and had these exact wheels on the car from that time. The 2nd owner kept the LMGT4s as spares; they've since made their way back to the car again
  21. Wow! That looks wicked! They got that out fast, whether it be just a shell or the real deal
  22. Thanks guys. Yep the only reason for selling this was because another opportunity came up. Otherwise I'd pictured myself holding on to that car for a long time. Hope it makes the new owner very happy.
  23. I like it Josh. Where is it? They all just need to be wearing monk outfits or something... descending into some sort of abyss...
  24. That's hilarious Lyndon, would've loved to see it in person! Reminds me of playing Grand Theft Auto when I'd try and collect a whole bunch of the same car that I liked and park them out the front of 'my house'. Or it's like you entered some kind of cheat code and they SPAWNED! Thanks Huy, yes it's the new one; have only had it about a month now
