  1. All Jap Day is supposed to finish around 3pm, so might head up for a look if there's time. Takes about half an hour to get there from Silverwater apparently.
  2. Heard someone from the bureau say that the weekend should actually be mostly dry. We could get another dumping this afternoon but after that it's supposed to let up a little bit. Will still be checking the forecast over the next few days as I'm sure it's liable to change a lot. Looking forward to it! Missed out on the Datto Day, so hopefully some of those awesome cars will be at AJD too
  3. Thanks for posting - love that R390. Speedo stuck on 145mph??
  4. Certain details caught my eye in some of the pics too; mostly artefacts that were included but I thought an artist would normally exclude; like surrounding cars such as a Nissan Micra in the background. I understand that sometimes the real world cars in the background could add to the atmosphere though and help provide some contrast against the subject (Ferrari or whatever), it just distracted me a bit and I immediately thought of Photoshop filters like mad082. Still, Przemek's gallery is very impressive and I'm sure his skills are legitimate (you pick up subtle differences between photo and drawing, as there should be; e.g. the woman's face on the Martini billboard in the Grand Hotel hairpin drawing etc). I'd just love to see some video of my drawing taking shape if I was spending ~100-200 bucks on a drawing or print. Keep it up mate, I'm sure they sell really well.
  5. Bit of an update: The LMGT4s (as shown above in this thread) have been moved across to another car; so the car will be sold with the standard R34 GT-R rims, which are in excellent condition (with only some minor scuffing) and come with Falken FK452 tyres which are almost brand new, in 265/35 ZR18 size. As a result, the price has now dropped to $48,500, o.n.o. Some new photos from the weekend below:

  9. Nope PM Sent.
  10. Hey Kristian, Speaking of new cars, I'll need to change my entry if that's okay. Can I send you a PM with the details? Cheers Matt
  11. Yes I believe the Z-tune had a unique +5 offset (but the same 18" x 9.5" dimensions otherwise)? Can't read the Japanese from OTR's original post so don't know if it's promoting the actual Z-tune, or using the Z-tune to promote these (very similar) Omori special edition LMGT4s.
  12. Did actually! But I did a different sort of trip - didn't get to stay nights unfortunately. But I did get to see a large number of places in a short space of time. The food I had in Lisbon was awesome, some seafood-stew type of dish which they're meant to be famous for. That arch / gate at the end of the main road is pretty amazing. Got some photos of it somewhere. Backpacking would have been interesting, bet you would've got some good pics that way. Wished I could get more of a feel for each place, which you'd definitely get by doing what you did.
  13. Hey, Just did this exact process on the weekend. As the only day we could make the transaction was a Saturday, I located the only ANZ branch open on a Saturday (Sydney Airport) and went with the seller to bank the cheque there. As Staz said, will need a copy of the letter from Esanda (or equivalent) later, to confirm. Make sure the payout figure is obtained only a few days <at the most> before the exchange occurs , as the amount is continually updated, and you don't want to pay 99% of the amount owing to the finance company because the account won't get closed as there's still an amount outstanding, even if it's 5c. The finance company will usually provide a date at which time the payout figure expires.
  14. Been to Spain (Cadiz, Barca, Granada, Seville) and I agree Sidd. Didn't get to stay long but those cities and the people were beautiful and had a real nice relaxed feel. The architecture was amazing, the Gaudi stuff was incredible. Will have to dig out my old Europe photos from 2006, I think I got maybe 1 or 2 good ones from about 6,000...
  15. Like the second one Richie, I don't mind the waves being like that. Maybe a fill-in flash from left or right to brighten up the subject would have taken it up another level for me. Would have been hard from a practical standpoint though. Nice panning shots Josh, lucky you, being in Spain! Looks like you had a good vantage point with no fences or posts anywhere near the action. Wonder if you caught that race marshal looking at one of the pit girls when you snapped that last shot?
  16. PM Sent Aaron. Cheers, Matt
  17. Haha that's awesome Eric!! What are the chances hey?
  18. Thanks Sidd; a GTR comes, a GTR goes... so I'm staying in the fold! Matt, we showed the previous owner some examples of your work and he said he'd love some pics like that of (his ex-) car and would like to buy A3 / A2 prints too
  19. F'ing bril mate, I'm jealous of these locations of yours. How long did you have to wait until the sun had set just-so? Yep I hope we can get some nice snaps of the new car before too long. The rims on it aren't staying though; they're 20"s so I'm thinking maybe I'd like to get in on any upcoming photoshoots while it's still looking OTT, then scale it back to what I want, at which time another photoshoot would be good... At the very least it'll be up at the Legends night.
  20. Looks beautiful Sidd. November is a good month...
  21. Thanks Matt. Looking for reasonable offers.
