    Hi, My HID have started to randomly turn off while driving...I change my right one nearly 2 years a go as it was flickering but lately the left started to switch off, but now suddenly the right would switch off and the left stay on... Anyone know of a good electrician that has worked with V35 and knows what he's doing in the Sydney area?

    My alarm was working fine but about a week and a half ago when i armed the alarm, the siren beep sometimes was audible but other times it would just loc the car and d lights flashed only, no sound at all..for the past few days, the alarm has not made any audible beeps when locking or unlocking. Has anyone had a similar issue and what did you do to fix/diagnose the issue? Thanks Cristian

    ok for the dummies... what you are saying is that i need to pull the entire headlight assembly or just the ignitor and the bulb? if i need to pull the headlight then i guess i would need to take the bumper out - right?

    Hi, My drivers side HID started to play up a few weeks ago, kept on flashing and turning on and off at times unti it eventually just turned off. I checked the fuses and the fuse was blown, replaced the fuse and the bulb but the fuse keeps on burning. Any suggestions as to what the issue may be?

    try Maxidiag JP701. For codes etc, has worked in 350z and v35s... lots of the prices from here in oz are way over inflated...specially for the diagun that chris was referring to....

    yeap...everything worked then the whole panel was stuck, no aircon functions(aircon stuck on) or radio...basically none of the buttons worked but before that the radio was working fine, so did the cd's

    Chris whats the best way to test if the stereo died or was in fact the panel interface?

    yeap, done today (sat)..... i'm a happy man apart from now having to check some interface as the obd interface is not spitting anything to the scannner but the phisical connection is fine...

    Hi, Selling the stock facia and old stereo... Facia in very good condition, stereo worked up until a couple of weeks ago, not sure if the interface died or the actual unit itself. PM if interested.

    I need some help... my radio and air con control just died and the aircon is stuck on. Any ideas as to how to fix/turn the aircon off?

    sorry to dredge an old thread but is this the correct part for cars that also have the ioniser? i ordered a filter which would work on my v35 coupe but my car also has a bracket for the filter to sit in with wires thru it ( which i believe would be the ioniser). the filter does not fitr in the bracket therefore i'm trying to find the right one for the car. any help would be appreciated.

    That button is for tilting the mirrors when reversing...if it doesn't work it is most likely because : a) It is unplugged b) you have an after market alarm and when it was installed they needed to remove the original alarm which is wired to that button...i know this cos Chris had to do that to install my alarm.
