I can second that. I have been servicing my cars with Paden for many years and he is as good as it gets...pity he is so busy most of the times.

Tried most except for the eucaliptus oil to no avail...got my side windows tinted this w/e and the guy doing them let me know that it wasn't tree sap but acid rain marks. He recommended a clay bar and window cleaner for moisture....tried it and it kinda work, reduced some of the spots but not all of them. I guess i need to do it a few times to get a better result

Hi, Just wondering if anyo knows a way to remove dried tree sap from winscreens. I have tried a few products to no avail, wd40 and even nail polish remover and the marks are still there. Any suggestions?

In saying all this, what is actually required to replace the stereo only on a V35? not interested in combining monitor or navigation, just a repalce of the bose head unit with something else?

Guys, I have 3 internal flashinbg lights that i'm not so sure about. I can see 2 red ones that i pressume are from the inmobiliser, one on the centre panel under the clock area and another with the label "security" near the key ignition area. There is a thrid lights that i'm not sure what it's for. On the left side of the steering column, between the cigarette lighter and the steering column i have a green light that flashes. Can anyone tell me what this is for?

i got a different one wired to my other cat (FTO), when you lock the car the windows go up automatically. I've seen the window relay for 30 bucks but unsure if it will work with the 35

Hi guys, Can anyone recommend a good car electrician that knows the V35 in Sydney? My odometer started to click over very slowly and the Fuel gauge does not move past half way! tried the tests outlined in the service manual and the entire instrument panel works fine all gauges move (except for the fuel) i filled up the car till fuel spitted out and the fuel gauge moved from nearly empty till half way only. The odometer clicks over very slowly as 100 mt every 400m or so. When i checked the Fuel leave to see what type of consumption i got it just showed *.* /km Any ideas or help is appreciated. Cristian

I knew about the window module as i have one on my FTO( not the one mentioned here) but i thought the V35 came with one standard.

care to explain how it auto winds up? trying to figure it how this may happen as when i lock the car the windows stay put....

got it inspected by pedders and they said need an alignment and the tyres are crap.... had a drive and so did my mechanic, aprt from the tyre road noise it ok...we had the car up on the hoist and no issues underneath apart from the inside wear of front and rear tyres.
