I used aluminium sheeting cut to shape to shield my intake from hot air in the engine bay, removed the rubber seals from the bottom of the bonnet to feed the turbo, VERY NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE, especially in the cold. Cost me $12 for a sheet of aluminium frmo Bunnings, a sheet of cardboard to make a template, and about 30 mins with tin snips. Bets mod ever. P.S. rubber strips are easily put back with plastic clips

It's on the way, and would make for some awesome photos of a massive group of skylines storming down the road (and obeying all road laws until we get to the track). Anyone? Thoughts?
