To make sure its the balast switch the passengers side balast to the drivers side and see if the drivers side light plays up. It could be your combo switch on the column stalk and you may end up buying a balast for nothing .

That depends on how loud it is. I think you will find out the noise was there before....

Sounds like you have a main shaft bearing noise there, when you push the clutch in the main shaft is not turning so the noise stops . the thrust bearing noise would be when you put load on it ( that is clutch pushed in ) .

No standard 34 turbos are slightlty bigger than 32+33 and better because they are ball bearing but still have ceramic turbine wheels .

If the oil cooller is higher than the sump it may drain in the sump so make sure you check it soon after you stop the engine. The problem with overfilling is the crank may aerate the oil if to much oil is in the sump then you get air mixed with oil pumping through the lub system and that could damage your bearings. Rb 26's have to have a lot more oil in there for that to happen, I always had a little extra in all my GTRS ...

Why do you want to remove it without a puller? You will end up breaking it but you may want to try a rubber mallet. I wouldn't as they are very easy to chip.

Factory stock boost on a 34 GTR is .9 bar ( a little more than 33 gtr). Stock 34 gtr turbos on standard and V-specs are ball bearing and ceramic exhaust wheels . Its up to you on how much boost you run on stock turbos ( if you have stock turbos) but I wouldn't go over 1 bar on them. The problem is if one lets go it could destroy your engine because when it lets go it breaks into a million tiny pieces ( like sand dust) that can be sucked back in to the engine . If you want to get more power for your stock internal engine just buy a pair of HKS GTSS turbos and a power f/c tune that to 1.1 bar and enjoy it, if you want to track it you will need a better cooling system, radiator and oil cooler and better brakes . The problem then you will run in to is the small amount on oil the RB26 sump holds so you will need sump baffles and maybe a bigger sump ... Where do you stop???? When you get sick of spending money on her?? maybe ???

Grab a file and file 2 sides a little smaller so you can fit a 13 mm open end spanner, that should do the trick. Another way to undo it get a pipe wrench on to itthat should work too. Whatever you do dont be tampted to drill it out. You should be able to gat another from Nissan or a spare parts shop.

You chipped the harmonic balancer and you re-used it with part of it missing?? Well if thats so your engine is not very well balanced now !!!

Its not a good idea to use a jaw puller on a harmonic balancer, you may break it . You have to use one that you screw in the balancer .
