anyone from here going to the drags next wednesday ? i will be going weather permiting .

why not put 16'S at the front as well with 205 tyres , smaller tyre easier to spin . just look at the drag cars , huge rears for grip and tiny fronts less resistance .

no problem mixing them but dont buy the $5 stuff ( its nothing more than water and colour ) buy 33% if you go to the snow 50 % will give you better protection . repco have their own brand for about $27 for 10 lt but carefull they have a cheaper one as well dont buy that .

sure they are strong enough but never drop hard on them and regardless you are going to bend the sills .

supra , sure yhe book might tell you to put your stands on the sill but if you look closer it tells you to use a special tool ( lm4519-0000) i think you'll find thats some rubber block that fits on the sill so you dont bend it . if its not a rubber block you'll find its a special stand like the jack that comes with the car that fits inside the sill , if you got that thats cool but with normal stands i put them uder the rail or near where the suspension mount is at the rear , i never put a stand on the sill , my sills are still straight .

dont buy that $ 30 rubish they are dangerous !! i've seen them twist and the car just drops . spend like 150-200 and get a proper one ( still a cheapie ) i use proper commercial jacks that i've had for 20 years and still going strong ( i've changed the seals though ) supra dont put the stands under the sill put them under the rail you wont bend that . the jack that comes with the car you put under the sill cause its made for it . and its only meant to be used to change a flat tyre thats it . you say you can get under the car to undo the sump plug , sure you can but what about checking things like gear oil , cv boots , uni joints , oil leaks and what ever you got to jack the car up to do a proper service its much easier and you dont want to use el cheapo stands either ( made out of 1.6 mm steel ) they are to flimsey .

yes you do need a sim , so you can contact it and it rings you , not sms

Eav00I , if you were stopped when the car behind you hit you are not at fault no ifs no butts . if you where still moving though then its not as clear basicaly you are both at fault unless you can prove that if the car at the rear didnt hit you you where going to stop before you hit the car in front ( pretty hard to prove ) as for the damage i wouldnt worry as you are insured ( they can get it sorted out ). you can get free legal advice at your local courthouse just ring them up and they will make an apointment for you . did the cops book the driver that hit you ? they are responsible to the damage to the rear to your car , it doesnt matter if they hit you before you hit the car in front or not . she should get a neg driving regardless ( she hit you fron behind )cause she was driving to close to you . if i was you i would fight it in court but it will cost you about $1000 for legal fees . fill the notice that the cops gave you and send it in . they will send you a summons , you go to court on your own , its only for mention they will give you a hearing date then you will need a solicitor .

jaydee ,in most cases pieces of the ceramic turbine of the gtr turbo will be sucked in the engine and it makes a big mess so u dont want one of these to let go , you are looking at a full rebuild,even the oil pump will be stuffed ,bore , pistons rings even bent valves .

did you get done for noisy exhaust ? was it on showground road a few weeks ago ? did they direct you to go for inspection on the spot ? the trick is not to go if they ask you to . tell them that you are in a hurry and make apointment to go some other time in the mean time you make sure your car will comply . i was pulled over about a year ago and when they asked me to go around the corner for inspection i told them no i was in a hurry so they ask me to go another time and i fixed my exhaust ( put a flange with a few 15mm holes where the cat joins the the rear pipe )it worked great but no power

there is an rs4 for sale at the moment i think its going for about $100k. i would strip the line back to stock but you wont get much for it , an audi dealer wouldn't want it they are just going to wholesale it !!! its probably best for you to try and sell it privatly , good luck with it though .

go to any auto parts shop and get a universal boot for like 15-20 $. just take yours with you to make sure of shaft sizes. they are like $80 from nissan .

is the powergetter 3" or 3.5" ? did you have it installed ? very loud ?any drone ?

cerialkiller , i value my car heaps and i can assure you the only way someone is going to steal it would be to tow it awy and then i'll know exacly where is is . i have an alarm immobiliser , a custom made immobiliser and a tracker . what i said in the previous post and still stand by it is : $ 900 for just an alarm is way to high when you can get a tracker for very little more and that will give you much better protection dont you agree with that ?

i have a pair of n1 gtrs (r33) , i bought of doughboy and had them rebuild by garrett , no dyno yet , had the pfc tuned on the road , i will let you know when i get dyno done .

whats your reason to sleeve rb block ? just get the new pistons and machine the block to suit . is the block standard size now ? 86mm pistons ? if yes you can go to 86.5 or 87 mm

gor33, it is a STOCK gtr bar , its not aftermarket its stock plastic bar .i have a n1 b/bar in my gtr , again stock nissan plastic item so i don't need this one . what car do you want to put on ?if its r33 gtst find out if it will fit first . why do you want a pic ? if you are interested in buying it and you want to see the condition of it then i will take some pics but if you are not i don't want to waist my time . let me know amd pm or post your email .

no lip mate , they are very hard to find second hand ( they scrape and easy to damage ) no idea how much to send to bris . whats wrong with yours blitz ?

adrian , when i wanted a tracker i looked around and i found ezytrack to be the best at the time ( 9 months ago ) i dont know what the others have to offer now but forget quiktrack , its the worst one around , no cover outside sydney metro . give this guy a ring ( i'll pm you his number ) and he can tell you better than me . check your pm . cheers
