  1. it sounds like you have 2 problems . first you have to fix the master cilinder leak as it will get worse .so either a new master or resleeve your old one ( they do a stainless steel sleeve )and put a kit in it . the shudder is usualy flywheel warp or uneven wear , if you take off with a lot of revs it shouldnt do it for a while then it would go back to shuddering again . unless it shudders badly dont worry about it for the time been just fix the master cil.
  2. ma160802 , if you want new tyres i can get 265x35x18 from 200 each fitted
  3. if you are interested in selling the exhaust let me know i maybe intersted .
  4. what bearings are u talking about ? big conrod bearings u can do on a normal 2wd car but not the mains as u have to take the crank out . on skyline 4wds u cant take the sump off unless u take the engine out , so its no to your question . why do you want to do bearings ? usualy if you are going to do bearings you do a complete engine rebuild . even if i was going to change bearings i'll take the crank out and grind it then use undersise bearings because if the bearings picked up the crank will not be 100% either , at least take it out and measure it .
  5. yes a lot more than that like cam seals , valve stem seals o rings , rocker cover gasket . basicaly it should have everything u need to do a complete rebuild of the top end , all gaskets and seals that are not reuseable .
  6. yes it has one coil per plug and they plug straight on to the plugs , the ignitor is at the rear of the rocker cover .
  7. dont forget the rb26 box is a lot heavier because it has the transfer case ( for the 4wd ) with it so the rb20 + 25 will be a lot lighter .the 230 kg also includes inlet, exhaust manifolds , turbos , alternator , starter, steering pump but not air cond pump . i havent weighed an sr20 but it should be around 130 for the turbo , dont forget you have 2 cil less and alloy block , the rb 26 block weighs about 60kg.
  8. sorry mate that should be front exhaust pipe , thats where the drain plug is on rb 26 's . i must say its not easy to get to , you may need a mirror to see it .the drain plug in the radiator will only let the out the radiator coolant and not much more . by undoing this plug you will get almost all the coolant out , if you want you can undo 1 of the heater hoses and blow compressed air so you get all the heater coolant out too . i hope that helps you .
  9. rb 26 dett including gearbox and transfer case 325 kg without box about 230 kg
  10. r32 gtr , you can never get all the coolant out unless you strip the engine . when fashing the system out you put the ignition to on and set the climate control to the hiest poss temp + undo the plug on the block ( its on the exhaust side under the forn ex pipe ) , that will let most of the coolant out of the cil head and block then you should use about 7 -8 lts to refill . when you refill there is a breather plug on the front of the intake manifold colector , that will make it easier to refill as it lets the air out of the system
  11. go to nissan hornsby they should have them in stock , or get one for you the same day , about $80 trade for h/gasket , low $200 for vrs kit .
  12. offset and with of the wheels please and which falkens ?
  13. i used arias pistons when i rebuild my rb 26 , 87 mm , 4 thou clearance . as with all chrome rings you need a good hone . i used run in oil for 800 k then mineral oil for 4000 k then helix ultra . when running it in put it under load from the start but only for short periods like full throtle in higher gear for like 20-30 seconds then back off then on again . i have no problems with blowby whatsoever and 175 compression . fat 32 , did they bore it out to suit the new pistons ? the clearances maybe to big or the ring gaps to big
  14. i'm looking at replacing my turbo hoses ( all 4 )with aluminium pipping , hks or something similar , has anyone used them ? do u think sillicone hoses are a better option ? where is the best place to buy either ? any idea on price ? been quoted around $700 in australia and $ 550 from japan

  17. the easytrak system uses gps to track the car and calls ur phone ( not sms ) it tells u the location the speed its traveling and the direction its heading and u can imobilise it from ur phone . it has a backup battery as well so if they disconect ur battery and tow it u can still track it .
  18. u can get ezytrack fitted for about $12 - $1300 fitted in sydney
  19. ferni , there are no screws there holding it under the cluster only clips , the only screws are behind the ashtray and when you unclip it there is a screw that holds the temperature sensor for the climate control .
  20. r33 gtr v spec , reg gtr095, on oakes rd carlingford on sunday morning , i use to see it there every sunday , hadn't seen it for some time .anyone from here ?
  21. the first thing i would be doing is check the timing , if u got stock ecu u have to do it with a timing light .
  22. if you live anywhere near castle hill we maybe able to help each other by swaping coil packs . mine started missing at high rpm 6500+ but only when the engine gets very hot say after u drive for 30 min + hard driving . i suspect that i have a coil that breaks down . i tested them all but by the time i get them off the car they probably cool down enough so they all test ok . after taking all spark plugs out i noticed number 4 being a little blacker than the rest so i suspect thats my problem coil pack . the other thing that could be is the igniter thats why i'm keen to do a swap with a known good coil before i go and buy 1 . so blukie let me know if u want to do the swap that way we both will be sure and then we can buy new ones . i can get them trade price as well .
  23. use a trolley jack , jack front crossmember , rear diff then use stands if you are going to get under the car . never get under car without stands suporting it .
  24. timber32 , did you use a new switch assembly or used ? if used thats your problem its not much better than yours . they are known to play up in all nissans not just skylines
  25. hi arup , the turbos are much better now after running them in , i get full boost ( 1.2 bar ) at 4000 rpm in 4 th gear 4300 in 3 rd running a bit rich with these turbos so i have to retune it will be doing so in the next couple weeks . car was quicker taking off with the old ( stock ) turbos but it has more at the top end now above 6000 rpm . did u sell ur car ?
