  1. If they are stock ites they are not steel, if he puts a pic of the exhaust side up, I can tell you for sure .
  2. Here you go mate , start bidding on this one, its a bargain for 12 million Yen. http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n61508046
  3. I have a manual GTT s/wheel , same as a GTR, the only diff is the airbag cover .
  4. I have a pair in Sydney , make me an ffer via pm if you like.
  5. It will bolt on but you may have to mod the electrical plug ( not sure ) the airbag will work with your ecu.
  6. There are 2 lines mate one is foir oil feed and the other coolant , here is a pic of them , just the 2 lines as you can see them . If you are keen I'm in Sydney, make an offer via p.m.
  7. I have the oil and coolant lines than go in the block if thats the lines you are talking about.
  8. Spark plug out , fit the coil pack on to it as if it was in place, ( you don't need to hold the plug on the coil pack it will hold by itsef) this way if all works the plug should fire across but it must be grounded as you need + and - . The reason you need insulated muti-grips to hold the assemby ( plug with coilpack), if all works you will get a belt. How else would you hole the plug on the body of the cyl head , if you use your hand you will get a belt!!
  9. If you are 100% sure you don't have spark on number 3 then check all electricals . Try this very easy test : Take number 3 spark plug out and connect the coilpack back on it, take a multygrip or anything else that is well insulated ( otherwise you will get a belt) and while you are grounding the spak plug on the cyl head, someone can crank the engine , then you will know for sure if you don't have spark.
  10. Updated, more parts added , check first post.
  11. A little lower than RB25, 12.2kg cm2, Carbon built up is not a good thing but it happens on most engines with age .
  12. You can have a perfect comp dude on all cyl with worn piston rings and or bore because the oil can take up the wear and hold perfect comp. If that was the case when you do a leakdown test you could have say 25% leakdown pressure loss). Now I'm not saying for one minute that this is the case with your donk, as I said before it seams its in good nick. Deck the block/head= shaving a few thou" . Has the same effect as using a thinner head gasket..
  13. You will find two m6 bolts ( 10mm hex) on the bottom of the seat near the wheel arches , one on either side . Undo them and then lift upwards and she will come out .
  14. Lucky for you its only one tooth out and not a few teeth....... then you could have nice valves ....
  15. Sounds like you have a healthy engine there , stock pressure should be around 170 psi (12.2kg cm2) on RB25 det @ 300rpm, warm engine ( normal operating temp) and WOT. If any of the above vary you will get different results. If you use a thinner h/gasket , deck the block or cyl head the pressure will be higher , if you have carbon built up the pressure will be higher . If you want to be sure on the condition why not do a leakdown test ??
  16. Subarus run high boost on all their cars . My05 STI runs about 16 psi stock, v5+ v6 ( my99+ my00) run even higher boost 17+ psi because they were pure Jap spec cars . Even normal Rexes run 14 psi on most models , its only the latest MY06 on (2.5 lt engines ) that run slightly lower boost about 15 psi on STI and 13.5 for normal WRX.
  17. Be every careful if you cheat customs, say you get an invoice for $900 then you transfer $1100, how easy is it to get caught, they have the power to access your bank accounts .
  18. This is exacly how it works but in the cost of goods they will include any shipping or any other charges within Japan as well. Say you bought the goods for $980 , then you paid $20 postage and $5 bank transfer ( between banks in Japan) , then you will pay : $980+20+5 =$1005 +10% import duty =$100.50 =$1105.50 + $50 Freight from Japan here =1155.50 + 10% GST $115.55 Total cost $ 1271.05 If the tatal cost in japan is under $1000 , customs will not collect any tax at all , in the above case it is $1005 so they will ask you to pay $216.05 As long as your invoice is bellow $1000 they will not ask you to pay anything .
  19. * R34 GTR rear floor mats ( only the 3 rear mats , no front mats ) $140
  20. I think you will find they are RT , should be +35 offset
  21. You are correct but the seller says they are V-spec II so they are younger ( series II GTRS are from late 2000 on ).
  22. No they will not Joe .
  23. Here they are mate , just the rear 3 as you see them , they should be exacly the same but better quality. If you are keen make me an offer .
