  6. I have one in Sydney, how much are you willing to pay?
  7. http://www.ezitrak.com.au/, I found this unit to be the best around and you can momitor it yourself so no annual fee plus you can kill the engine anythime rather than them calling cops follwing the car and then cut the engine when they think its safe . Sure it won't work underground but it will give you the last "known" location ( when it went of satelite sight). Will work anywhere on the plannet however it won't call you if there is no GSM cover but as soon as it goes in GSM cover area you will get a call. Running cost is the cost of a SIM card, you can get a pre-paid or a low fee card like $9 per month . QT only works in merto areas, uses a lot more power so if you don't drive the car for a week or so battery will go flat, its a much bigger unit ( harder to hide in the car) and needs a better aerial. It can even save you from the cops as in this case . http://www.ezitrak.com.au/aa-News.htm http://www.policespeedcameras.info/news_nsw1.html GPS BEATS SPEEDING FINE view ACA Video URGENT PRESS RELEASE AUSSIE MADE GPS DEVICE BEATS NSW POLICE Sydney driver Michael Simotas was charged with speeding by police officers using a handheld radar, allegedly doing 85 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone. But Michael had a secret weapon in his car – an EziTrak® GPS Security and Tracking System. Michael was able to download the black box from his EziTrak® unit which provided accurate, tamper-free data of the vehicle's traveling speed, position and direction.Through this data, Michael was able to prove that his vehicle briefly touched 61 km/hr at the time he was charged but was mostly traveling at 57 km/hr. During the subsequent case and appeal, a GPS expert gave corroborating evidence and attested to the accuracy of GPS and the inability to tamper with the data. This is the first case in NSW where GPS data has been admissible in evidence to contest the accuracy of police radar. So what is EziTrak®? EziTrak® is a security & tracking system which gives car and vehicle owners personalised, self-monitoring with no ongoing back-to-base fees. EziTrak® utilises GPS and GSM technology to give the owner instant tampering notification, control, tracking and emergency alert information over the phone. EziTrak® has an internal Black Box Recorder logging speed, position, time and date from 1 to 255 hours. This information can be downloaded to a PC and then played back on a moving map display. The data is accurate and cannot be tampered with. EziTrak® was designed by Sydney based company Rojone Pty Ltd. EziTrak® is manufactured in Australia and is sold throughout the country as well as being exported to the UK, USA and many other countries.
  8. On the passengers side in line with the collant outlet , close to number 3 cylinder, not easy to see under the turbos, you have to look up from under the car.
  9. Undo the inner cv boot, undo the lower balljoint arm and the sway bar. Swing the wheel hub to the outside and she will pop out .If you need to get the drive shaft off you will have to release it from the hub .
  10. Are you sure it doen't have RRR on the side ? If it did thats a Nismo Gt block , the engine number then would be NS Axxx, only 3 digit number from 1 to 200 , only 200 Nismo GT blocks made.
  11. Got a pair in Sydney , what are they worth to you? pm if you like .
  12. Steering wheel should fit a 33 but ask in the forum , someone would have done it . mats are on hold for someone else.
  13. Sorry mate I don't have than gauge .
  14. $250 , has 40 something ks on it .
  15. I have a GTR cluster that will fit if you have aftermarket boost gauge.
  16. The 20% I just plucked out of the air dude, I have no Idea about prices of anything at all.... LOL , I have owned about 150+ cars in my short life....Suit yourself but don't say I didn't warn you . When you compare prices in AUS and Japan , compare apples with apples, compare wholesale prices in Japan with same here , not wholesale Japanese prices with retail prices here . Have you ever tried to sell a high price Merc in AUS ? Especialy one that was sold new O/S? When you do you will find out what I mean . I have done it before several times .. By the way I wasn't including luxury tax because I was hoping you will buy it under the LCT threshold , if you don't you will loose plenty money !!! Actualy luxury cars of any sort depriciate a lot more than run of the mill Jap cars here in AUS . If you want to know 4WD's hold their money better than anything else .I own a 2000 model Landcruiser, I'm about to replace with the new 200 series , I will get over $40k trade in for her and I only paid $69 k in November 2000 , find me a luxury car that will be worth as much as a % of the original purchase price. Good luck with your venture and I hope you make heaps of $$$$
  17. About 240 kw at the fly.

    R35 Engines?

They don't need any more revs to produce the power they want . Do you know what the 911 tt Porka's redline is ?? 6500 rpm and she goes like the clapers with plenty of torque at 2000 rpm . My guess is this is what Nissan are trying to copy and by the reports we are getting they have done a good job . I wonder if the R will have a dry sump, like the Porka, hold heaps of oil , like the Porkas ..
  19. If you are going to buy a Merc so you can bring it back to Aus and sell it to make money think again. The cost to buy it in Japan is just the start, add to that , transport , import duty and gst and don't forget they depreciate heaps in 12+ months too. By all means buy one to enjoy it but not to make money selling it here .The other thing you have to consider a private import is never going to be worth as much as localy sold car so allow 20% less at least .
  20. BB surely his mechanic friend would pick up a loose h/balancer, he should be able to see that himself!!
  21. I have one in Sydney, where are you at?
  22. By crank pulley I assume you are talking about the harmonic balancer, that shouldn't be noisy , it bolts on the crank and turns with it . If its out of balance you should replace it asap, if the whole crank/rod/piston assembly is out of balance you have bigger problems. If any of these are out of balance that could be the problem but they wouldn't create a tapping like sound. It would be more like vibrations rattle in the clutch/box . Have a good look at the h/balancer to make sure its not chiped or cracked . You could have aftermarket pistons, maybe forged , do they rattle on cold starts?
