Get under the car and loosen the bolt on the adjusting pulley then keep turning the long adjusting bolt until the belt is loose. -
Noisy Scraping Noise Coming From Front Left Of Engine Bay

If you think its the air cond pump, disconnect the belt and see if its quiet . Power steer pump would be noiser when under load, like when you are turning the steering especially on full lock. -
Car Theft In Australia, Abc Four Corners 830pm Tonite
wrxhoon replied to sigsputnik's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Sti's have had them for a few years now and most Subarus have them now. You can't get rid of them, even if you spray over them there are still there, unless you take all the paint off, then they are gone. Its very hard to do because they spray them everywhere so you have to distroy the car . -
Tighten 14-16 nm then turn 60-65 degrees, make sure you oil the nut and the surface. To save you asking again mains are 46-52 nm , again oil the thread and the friction surface .

R33 Steering Wheel With Airbag
wrxhoon replied to Julzy's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey mate, I just had a look at the emails and pm's, and I'll come out and admit I was wrong. You did accept the offer before he wrote me that pm offering more and I didn't realise that. Being the case, you can have the steering wheel for $130 including postage like I said. I pm'd the other guy apologising for the screw up and told him I'll give you preference. If you don't trust the condition I'm going to a friends house tonight and i'll try to get some good quality pics. I'm not out to be dodgy or screw anyone over, I just didn't realise you had accepted it before I got the other offer. Apologies for the screw up. Let me know, Julian DeleteReplyForwardSpamMove... What happen Julian ? Did the other guy reject it? Well like i said even if you want to give it to me, I DONT WANT IT. I'm not dealing with you, i thought you was a little sus thats why i was going to get someone in Melbourne to buy it for me! I didn't trust you in the first place and looks like my feeling was correct unfortunantly. Feel free to sell it to whoever you want, if anyone can trust you . -
R33 Steering Wheel With Airbag
wrxhoon replied to Julzy's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Like i told you in our conversation i don't like time wasters and i don't like to be mucked around dude. Thats why i put this on here for others to see the kind of bloke they are dealing with, you promise one thing and you do another. You describe it very vaguely and put up a useless pic . It is obvious to me that you are a guy that won't stick to your word . Your word is not even worth $20, if i said i'll pay $160, i'm sure you will tell the other guy he can't have it. Sorry dude i don't operate like that, if you do then it's your business but the rest of us should know, thats the reason i'm posting this. i DONT WANT YOUR STEERING WHEEL. Even if you offered it to me for $50 now i wouldn't buy it dude. Good luck with the sale .... -

I wouldn't be dealing with this bloke, he offered me the S/wheel for $130 and then he changed his mind because someone offered him $150. How can you believe him as to the condition of it? He just says normal wear and puts up a dodgy pic that you cant see anything. Here is a copy of the email he send me : Hi Julian , > > If you want $120 ( $100+20 postage) for it, i will take it as long as > the leather has no cracks, if its only slight wear its OK . > Please let me know, as i want to bid at Yahoo auctions on another wheel > Cheers , Jerry > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around > http://mail.yahoo.com > i'll do it for $130 including postage. -
Richard , there is no such a thing as a perfect paint job mate but with a lot of work you can get a decent paint job . You can look at any brand new car and find imperfections in the paint. Dont forget their paint plants are worth millions, how can a panelbeater that has say $50k equipment do a perfect job? If you don't remove the glass you will always see where they taped it, same with all the moulds and whathave you on the body. A good paint job is one that you cant tell if the car has been repainted. If anyone thinks they can it done for a couple thousand $ they are having themselves on. Paint change is a pain in the ass, you have to take the engine out, strip the boot take doors off and so on it never ends.

If i was to paint my car, i want 2-pack, cutback and buff. Acrylic is very good but more preperation work ( you have to use finer grade paper to rub the paint) and you must cutback and buff. It doesn't stay shiny for as lond as 2-pack so you have to keep polishing it more often .. Only dissadvantage of 2-pack, the off gun finish is not as flat, thats the reason i would want it cut and buffed .

Factory R33 Gtr Wheels With Tyres
wrxhoon replied to allblitz's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
They will . -
Well if you call masking everything, a quick rubdown with 400 and a quick hit with the gun a quality job then sure he can get it done for that . Adam, 2-pack is the only way to go these days, its not expensive for flat colours, it can get very expensive on some fancy paint though. Flat black would only be $200 for the sky, it's the labour thats the killer, if you want a good job it takes to long .

wrxhoon replied to NateR31's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Nismo will fit , you can buy it in Japan for about 13,000 yen from memory but you can probably get one from Nissan here . -
Actually i can it done for $999 but if you want a half decent job with everything removed $4 k is the very minimum you will pay, for colour change it will depend on what you want painted, if you want the lot including R+R engine expect to pay at least $6 k. Obviously you get what you pay for and my standards and yours are way different. If i was to get a car painted i would be happy to pay $6k as long as they did as i wanted them to.
