  1. i have a set of buddy club , height ajustable but not damper aj .
  2. There is no duty payable on stuff from USA only 10% gst . From japan the exhaust will have 10% duty on the purchase price +10 % gst on the tatal including freight if you gat picked up .
  3. Something is not right Rick , about 1.2 bar on the r34 they should go to 100% . Is that on the mfd ? Do you have power f/c ?
  4. WRX seats are much better than gts SII , sti seats are the same but they have better material . I would go for gtr seats though , better than wrx , they will be a staight fit and they are Nissan as well .
  5. I would definantly do both of them , buy aftermarket cam seals ( from any bearing place ) they are very cheap . Be very carefull when taking them out not to scratch the camshaft and carefull when installing them not to damage the seals ! You will need to hammer them in with something thats almost the same size ( a tube the same diameter ,but a little smaller ) . If you dont have anything use the old seal if not damaged to much . Just because there is no oil in the coolant and no coolant in the oil it doesn't mean the oil can't leak from the rear or front of the head gasket . Having said that its unlikely it leaks . Make sure the auxiliary bolts are in place at the front and rear of the head ( little 6mm bolts )
  6. If you want to go that road why not use the twin scroll turbo and manifold from liberty gt as well as 2.2 block . Twin scroll single is much better than the wtin set up on the B4 .
  7. Yea its a bastard of a job and it dosn't get any better puting it back as you already know . Make sure you use new gaskets on the plenum and exhaust manifold otherwise it will be coming off again . Anyway jokes aside i hope you fix your problem and the knuckles will heal in time ..
  8. Where did you see a 33 or 34 skyline with electric power steer pump ?
  9. All depends on the brand , Simmons will sell you a replacement rim , so you keep the old center with a new rim .
  10. It's unlikely that it leaks from the head ( not because there is no oil in the middle either ) , the oil leaking from the cam seals and the rocker cover will travel down and until you fix that you won't know for sure . Yes you will have to remove the plenum to remove the head but if i was to remove the head , i would prefer to remove the engine out , or at least lift it up a little to get to the plumbing under the plenum easier and get to the turbos easier too. Once you remove the plenum its very easy to remove the cil head . if you have good compression do a leak down test as well and if thats very low i would take it the engine is in good nick so i would replace the seals , half moons at the rear and new rocker cover gaskets and put it back together . How come you removed the plenum twice ? What a job to bust your knuckles , no skin left after that i bet .
  11. If i was going to replace the h/gasket on a gtr i would pull the engine out . Its very tight on the plenum side and very hard to do the plumbing there . Head gaskets can leak oil but if it leaks from higher up and runs down you cant tell .
  12. I can assure you hard launches will not smash the box of a stockish rex . I have done heaps over the years , i have owned several rexes and never smashed a box . They dont smash them taking off , they usualy brak second gear on flat changes ( 1st to 2nd ). There is no twin turbo rexes whatsoever , there is a twin scroll single turbo in the 05 sti but not on the normal rex . There is twin turbo on the b4 but they dont work that well , there is a flat spot ( 4000-4500 )where the small turbo runs out of puf and the next one is still spooling up , thats the reason they droped the twin setup for a twin scroll . It works very well on both the liberty gt and the sti .
  13. Thanks for the offer dude but $40 for all 5 genuine GTR mats is a bit of a joke , good luck with your search , maybe go to supercheap and buy a set of cheapies . Your local Nissan dealer will have the light ring but dont expect to buy it for $2 , you wont .
  14. There is no rear camseal , there is a half moon there . Replace the rocker cover gaskets , the rear halfmoons ( you will need a bit of sealant there ) and the front cam seals , if it still leaks look further then .
  15. If you think r+r starter is hard wait until you try the turbos !!
  16. I have a set of r33 gtr mats , as new , make me an offer , i'm in Sydney . You can get the light ring from Nissan , they are not that expensive .
  17. Pavel , i still haven't received your money for the battery . If you dont want it thats fine but please let me know a.s.a.p. , someone else wants it ..
  18. If you are asking me , i bought a gtr late 01 m-spec .
  19. 2.5 blocks are crap . A guy i know imported heaps of them ( at least 100 ) but never put one in his rex , he has a 2.2 block . In many instances you go back when you do mods . i know of a version 6 sti ( my00) with just power f/c , full exhaust and a little more boost doing 12.5 's .
  20. If you go to post 7 in this tread you will see in the pic that the batteries dont have posts , it has s/s screws on the terminals . You can buy posts if you like , you can cut the lead posts from any old battery , drill a whole then screw them on . The neg terminal in the 33's has an eyelet you just put the s/s screw through that and screw it in . The possitive terminal you can turn on its side and use the s/s screw to srew it on the terminal . Some of the options that people have used .
  21. ". In the GTR in the wet, as you take off the front torque transfer almost immediately swings well up the dial. You can drive like it's dry and just take off normally. With 260atw it's pretty easy to induce wheelspin but it's really only 3 that do spin unless using a slippery diff. . Even in the dry you get torque to the fronts the quicker you take off the more torque to the fronts , you dont have to wheelspin to transfer torque to the front .
  22. It was on my r34 gtr when i bought it in japan and i removed it with all the cables . If you want i can take a pic for you . It was working when it was on the car , i just dont like turbo timers . I'm not sure of the other functions ( what they do, never tried them ) but i do know the timer was working .
  23. Just post your email and i'll send you some .
