  1. hi, tried a long search , and read god knows how many posts trying to find informations. so, my question is: what modifcations do people do to rb30 blocks internally? i know in the rb26 you drill out the oil returns abit mone, no idea how much, and same as rb30 polish the inside of block to relieve stress and take all casting marks out. what else do people do? how much do you drill the oil returns out to ? do you also drill the main bearing oil outlets bigger¿ any modifications to the water ways? and i saw on some other forum how they modified the block for oil jects, as i think rb26 ones wont fit and there is too little material to use banjo bolts. im going to be building a 800bhp dry sumped track car with rb30, and want to keep it as reliable as possible (if this is possible ) thanks again simon
  2. looks good geoff, shame about the silly power steer line. do you have any high boost dyno graphs of this new turbo yet? thanks simon
  3. hi, not shure how much they cost? 100-150? im in spain , barcelona, i would pay all shiping obviousley. give me a quote, thanks simon
  4. noone..........please
  5. looking for used r31 rb20 cam covers, the ones that look like rb20 r32 ones but with the stripes on top, just like these: cash waiting
  6. sounds nice geoff cant wait to see a dyno graph, so anxious. been looking for a turbo for my new 2.8 setup, something along the lines of 700whp and was thinking of a gt4088r, what diferences have you found this these new turbos? simon
  7. quick question then. if we start using the lower adjustable arm(if we had one), to adjust camber, pulling he wheel further out, wont this stress the driveshaft too much? or should we go custom¿ and spacer on the bolted one? ps: forgot to say thanks to your pm duncan. will post you some pics of what im doing, got an ex prodrive engineer to help me out
  8. interesting post im ding my rear and front subframes too right now. would anyone be so kind to right down some supension geometry changes i saw a post long time ago about unique autosports doing something similar to their z32 but i cant seem to find the build thread. keep pics coming simon
  9. might sound stupid, but if you willing to ship to spain the atessa actuator, i will take it pm me please simon
  10. hi, thanks for that, will be sending email straight away to ask for pirces. well, im in the lookt for very fast gearchanges and better ratio. i find my 32gtr box a bit too long, and find im always missing a gear in some corners. i also tend to go out on the weekends with friends and their evo´s and its not as fun with a long geared box. thanks again much apreciated. simon
  11. im in the look out for a r34gtr getrag 6 speed box for my 32gtr. been looking for one for some time un europe, but not many around right now, and if so, for very illy prices, i could get a os giken for. let me know if you have 1 lying around best with transfer case, and ideal if it has front and rear prop. thanks simon
  12. haha, perfect , thanks for the answer man. yeah i have a friend thats going to supply me a new farndon 2.8...basically what the hks step 3 cranks were i think (you wouldnt believe the price im getting it for.....allitle more than a stock one costs). propblem here is.........head is being built to take over 9000revs, big 278 - 10.8 lift cams, so, im very very scared running 1.5 rod ratio on a high revving 1.6-1.7 boost engine .... obviousley cant be asking for a 60.000 km engine, bout woul like it to last quite a bit. not shure if i should be posting this on this thread, but i have so many questions i cant find answers for hahaha, such as, if i went for sr20 rods, that would make a pretty acceptable rod ratio with a 77.7 crank, but arent these rods alittle wide? or would the crank have to be machined for them? would an open deck engine hold high revs without distorting? haha, been thinking about doing a high deck for so long, and now my engine is in bits and long time to finish it, its one of those things i can have on my to do list hehehe. thanks again simon
  13. cant wait to see thins finished man, been thinking of this myself, rb28crank and deck spacer to get a good rod ratio. please pm me if you are going to be producing these, would like to know more about costs and worrk thanks simon
  14. i have all these pipings i think and also the heat shields, you can have them for free if you want.. just im in spain, if you want i can give you a shipping quote ........not shure on price simon
  15. has anyone ever tired dry sumping, with scavenging from the head and turbos? whould this be one of the best solutions? im planing on doing this with a 6 stage pump. 3 to sump and 1 head 1 turbo. thanks simon
