Rb26/30 Oil Pan & Head Drain For Street Use

The problem is the harmonics of the stock 30 crank during fast changing from low to high revs, a billet crank is supposed to be better and will take more revs without trying to lunch the pump. From what I understand a stock balanced crank will be fine with a Tomei pump up to around 7500rpm on a fast reving motor, over 7500 is possible but you are getting over the happy zone, apparently a billet crank can take alot more abuse, how much I dont know but Ive "heard" of 30's being reved to around 10 with one, fact or fiction, I dont know. I have a 25/30 with a Tomei pump, limited to 7500, I shift at around 7200 though as this keeps me in the sweet torque range and limits the abuse, I donot race for sheep stations so reving beyond that on a stock (albeit balanced) crank is something that does not interest me. -
After some calcs I,ve decided that I need Jza80 16 x 8 +50 rims. Hopefully someone local has got some laying around for me. Thanks.

Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines
The Bogan replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I have about 50mm space between my tyre and shock with about 1 deg of negitive camber using the R32 GTR 16 x 8 +30 rims, when the JZA80 16x9 +50 rims are fitted the camber will be wound out to around 0.5 deg positive camber which will give me a couple of more mm. So in theory fitting the 16 x 9 +50 rims will still give me 20 odd mm clearance, whilst bringing in the rim 7mm which may give me the clearance I"m after.. But now Im thinking of using the 16 x 8 +50 rim as that would give me 30 mm clearnace and bring the rim in 20 mm which would definatley give me the clearance. Bugger -
Lotto ticket purchased, If I win the lotto on Tuesday I would buy it and ask if "Gentalman Jim" could run it as the pace car next year at Bathurst yelling "YOU"RE A PACK OF ARSEHOLES" for old times sake. Is that wrong? I do hope it is still out and about the local traps, it would be ashame not to be able to see it at some events, It will ruin fathers day if it isn"t at the Muscle Car Masters.

17 year old car might be good or might be a money pit, is there a work shop in your area that knows Skylines ? Does the car have service history, where was it serviced. Can you take it somewhere to get it checked out, put it on a hoist, do a compression test. It will cost you a bit but its good peice of mind, the owner should only complain if there is problems with the car as it will cost him nothing but a little time. I might still go bang though, or it might not ! Sorry, but thats how it is.

Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines

Use a block of wood wrapped in a towel, a heat gun and a rubber mallet, I had mine professionaly done and they cracked the paint, me and a mate done his with the above mentioned equipment and it turned out fine with no cracking. You need to do it in stages though. Save the money for beer. -
But the extra muscle adds weight, so a 80 guy with more muscle Vs a 80 with less will usually be at a reach disadvantage, and trust me on this, when I was lifting heavy and had a lot more muscle mass than I do now I found it much harder in regards to endurance training. Someone said a few posts back that you shouldnt mix the disciplines, I partially disagree with that, for overall fitness you need to mix up your training, but if you want to focus on strength it will impact on your cardio, and visa versa. A guy competing in a power lifting comp will not need to worry to much about cardio, where as a marathon runner isn't going to want any unwanted weight on his bones. Me, I'm a firm believer in all styles of training from cardio to the big 3, with lots of stretching and yoga. All in all do what is needed for your chosen sport and/or your occupation.

If you have, I want. Only straight stock rims, slight rash is OK, I dont need the center caps but I will need the wheel nuts.. Pick up in Sydney region only as I will inspect prior to purchase. PM me with price.. Thanks, Mark Like this

Does anyone know if JZA80 turbo rims, 16x9 +50 offset will fit on the back of a R33 GTST. I need some 16 x 9 rims for drag duties. I was using R32 GTR 16 x 9 +30 with 255/50 16 Mickey T"s, but found that I needed too much height in the rear for the tyres to clear when launching. Or any other 16 x 9 rims that will tuck in with the tyre setup. Thanks -
Mine is always sore, your point is ?

Yes I read the whole article, this style of training has been going on for years, I was doing the cross fit training and introduced to power lifts when I first enlisted over 10 yrs ago. The the sphincter of the universe writting the article kept bringing up the military, did you read the whole article ? I was saying his research is flawed as he is writing about his "new and improved training" which isnt new or improved, other people have done the hard work and research and he is just writting about it, albeit 10 years to late it seems..
-
Where does he get his information from or is it based on military/EMS training from the 80"s, to me it sounded more like he was selling weight training. To be fit to fight you also need to be fit, no point in being able to lift a bus if you cannot catch it, we train in a variety of ways, body weight, bar and dumdbells, kettle bells, power lifts, HITT, volume, cardio, we do specific lifts, load carry training for most equipment used. Ive trained with yanks as well and their training is very simular to ours This guys research is weak.

I"ve heard that Redline has a new formula that foams up or something, I"ve used it before but ATM I"m scared off it. I actually just put in the last bit of some shockproof I had lying around, about a litre, LOL, the box still sounds like a grinder. What didn"t you like about the friction modifiers ? they sound good in the advertising, but then everything sounds good in a ad. I"m quite willing to pay for any oil that has the extra protection benifits.
