  1. Post vids for LOLS, Ive done this with mates before, its awesome, we had rounds where we would take turns of one would only guard and the other would attack, we had left hand only rounds and swicth your stance rounds. We only did 1 3min round per fight though, even then I was shagged. Enjoy. On a side note watch out for someone getting cranky, even mates sometimes get upset that "the little guy" is giving them some stick and they start swinging KO punches. And yes I was the "little guy", my mate took offence to my left constantly tapping him, he got cranky and started swinging hard, for a while good times were had by all, we are still friends to this day though. How are you matching up ? weight or pick out of a hat, we went pick out of a hat, not really fair but lots of fun.
  2. Got my 60ft down to the 1.75, my best time for the night was only 11.701 though, I was missing gears fairly regularly from 2nd to 3rd, also had some issues with finding 2nd at the end of the night, I think the old boat was getting a fair bit of heat in it after doing 8 runs. I'm going to bleed the clutch and change the gearbox oil prior to next week. All in all it was a good night, I just need to work on being consistent, I'm still all over the shop. Still I'm better than I was before, COME ON SAU NATS AIRPORT RUN.
  3. So, who is going, Im in for some more and the weather is looking good. Wednesday 24 October Summary Min 12 Max 24 Sunny. Chance of any rain: 10% Rainfall amount: 0 mm
  4. Any one using ? Seems like the new wonder drug in vogue.
  5. Deisel oil from a trucks filler cap maybe ? I watched a truck dump 20 ltrs of deiso on a corner near work, I pulled the guy over and told him, he had forgot to put the cap back on.
  6. I started at 17psi then went down 1 psi per run, best 60ft was at 14 psi, I went down to 12psi but my 60ft got worse, more likely my technique than the tyre pressure though.. Alot of my issues has to do with being consistant, trying to get my launch RPM, clutch slip, tyre pressures the same to get some usefull information is fairly tricky, with a heap more seat time and playing around with the settings should help me whittle my times down a bit by bit. Thanks, Mark
  7. Delivered to the address you give them, they are left at my door when I order them.
  8. Where are they $880 ? I would like one for my 33. Thanks, Mark
  9. Did a 11.6 at WSID, 0.3 faster than last time, best 60ft was 1.9, now its time to keep working on my RPM at launch to try and find the sweet spot, I never managed to find the right RPM tonight, 4000 wasnt enough but 4500 was to much. Finding the happy medium is not such a easy process, for me anyway. I did get to watch a S chassis 2ltr manual do a 9.? though, it was fast.
  10. 12 psi
  11. So far , 11.609 @ 133 with a 2.1 60 ft Best 60 ft so far is 1.9 but only ran a 11.651 @ 134
  12. New springs are in the rear, I'm sitting in lane 2 waiting to go.
  13. + 1 from me, I do regular long runs in the boat, cost a bucket in fuel but you only live once. Syd to Qld, Syd to Vic are my main runs, I mix up Hwy and country roads to make it a fun adventure. I do like the Snowy Mountain Roads but thats only a day trip for me from near Liverpool. Im coming down to Vic to do the Great Ocean Road in Jan when Im taking long service leave, It will be on my ace as the missus and my daughter gets bored, I can only take 2 as the car car only has 2 seats, which as far as I see is a win-win situation.
  14. Whats the dimensions of it "how thick" Thanks, Mark
  15. SAUSAGE SIZZLE, hell yeah
  16. So, who's going. Let's hope the weather holds out.
  17. My problem is that I purchased some R32 GTR rims with 255/50 16 M/T ET Streets which do not fit well inside the guards (I believe the cool kids call it hellaflush), when the tyre hook up it makes the outside edge of the guard hit the tyres, My conclusion to fix this for now (I will end up getting some 16 x 8 rims with a better offset) is to raise it up a bit to give it better clearance for now, I tried to overcome this initialy but fitting some standard shocks but although it got me to a better height the valving in the old stock shocks was arse. Ive raised the front up one groove on the Bilstiens, which now has it at the heighest settings front and rear, I shall then lower the rear down one groove at a time over the next couple of weeks to try and find the sweet spot for the clearance I need. ATM front is 345 and the rear (after some settling) is 370, as the Kings were progressive springs and the new ones are not so the squatting shouldnt be as aggressive due to the new springs not being as compliant in the first stage of compression.. The boat will go in for a wheel alignment on Monday to ensure Im on a level playing feel after all the playing around with the ride heights, Im going to get the camber set to 0.5 positive at the rear. I will see how it goes on Wendsday night weather permitting.
  18. What settings do you have it on, high or low ? I disconnect my battery all the time and I have never had a issue, I ve disconnected the control twice as well moving it position on the dash and whilst installing a remote high/low boost switch.
  19. It will be fine to unplug, it will keep its settings.
  20. VHT wrinkle plus paint, aas long as you prep it well and key the base it sticks fine.
  21. I believe the Federals are a UTQG 140 where as the Dunlops are 200, Ive never used Federals myself so I cannot compare. The Hankooks are 140 and I found the Hankooks wear more than the Dunlops but the Hankooks are more grippy straight off where the Dunlops needed a lap to come good and did get a bit "greasy" after about 8 laps at Wakie. Disclaimer: Im far from a expert in these things. Thats a bugger though about not shipping the Hankooks, I myself may go back to the Star Specs.
  22. Have you had a local quote for them yet ?
  23. The last quote I got for the Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star specs in Australia was between $360 and $400 a tyre if I remember correctly. Tire rack had them at the time for $128 a tyre. Add the $350 shipping and I was still miles ahead in savings. Things may have changed though.
