The new layout has some wider corners due to the extra bit of road they put in on a few corners, also going through 1 at more than walking pace helped, but over all I think it was a little bit everywhere, I tried to be smoother and link the corners better, also on my fastest run there was no traffic at all to put me off. The main thing was (maybe) after 2 sessions without a drop of oil causing me issues I put the pedal to the metal and had a ball, Im waiting for some pics from "old mate" to turn up, Ill post up some pics of the nissans or anything else that floats my boat really when they turn up. There was a Gardner Douglas T70 there which made me a bit hard

I was standing at the staging area and watched it go by, the wing was held on by 2 small bolts either side and the bracket looked like 1mm alloy. I would hazard to say that there may be a bit more strength in it next time out.

What will you be reving it to and how much of a power band do you need, mine runs to 7200 and has a good torquey power band from just over 4000 all the way to 7200, my inlet side is standard but my exhaust side has a bit more lift From my googling and shop talk you dont want to go to big with the 30 as it is limited with its lower RPM.

To true UNIGROUP and Yavus have gone out of their way to help me, they have always made it a priority to get my car going to its best potential. I will always use and recommend them as there isn't many places around who give this kind of service, a lot of places would have thrown in the towel, but they kept on keeping on. again, I'm as happy as ten happy things.

New PB for me, 1:52.2, I found 5 seconds somewhere, car went great, no oil surge problems at all, I think Im almost at the limit of the Hankook RS3 tyres though, Yavus came out to make sure all was well, the only small issue was blowing a IC pipe off on turn 12, fixed it with Yavus in 15 minutes and was back out for my next session. High boost run was fun. Bring on Wakie, under 70 for sure. Im a very happy man.

LOL, me to. Most times I get pulled over the cops look in the window and go "um err, we are pulling you up for a random breath test" they then walk back to their car and get the thingie. Some times they ask about the mods and I give them my folder with the rego, insurance, cams licence, engineers report, they then have a chat about the car, ask me how fast it is, I usually say "its pretty quick but it would be even quicker with a better nut behind the wheel, I laugh, they laugh, and then Im on my way. Works the same when Ive been pulled in and the RTA are there doing vehicle checks. Never a problem.

The cops are taught to look at they way people dress and behave, if you are a hoody wearing pants down around your knees kind of guy then you will be looked at, same thing if you look punk, emo, goth, metalhead, are you from a poorer area wearing top dollar clothes, they look at stereo typical types of fashion, also your personal apperance has a lot to do with it, if you have bags under your eyes or look half asleep, have bad skin you will be looked at. This is their job, this is how they work, when the cops are hassling you they do it for a reason, they wait for your reaction, if you get aggro or your facial apperance gets dark then they will push. Simple psycology is simple.

I like cops, they have a hard job dealing with idiots druggies and drunks, if I was a cop I think I would end up getting in trouble for belting all the mouthy idiots and the scum that are everywhere. They drag dead and dying bodies out of cars, clean up the mess after some scum has bashed his partner or kids, chase down scum who bash people for fun or the money in their pocket, things like this give people a short amount of time for idiots, they put themselves on the line for me and my family. My S1 1995 has it, ABS is good, Ive never flat spotted a tyre on the track, why, ABS, why would you want to get rid of it ????? Unless its a BALLS TO THE WALL race car I was told there is a wire you can disconnect to disable it for motorkhanas so you can do J turns and stuff. ALSO IF THE CAR IS REGOED IT WILL BE A MAJOR DEFECT, you are removing safety gear.

The one I'm getting doesn't have a spring (sort of), it is a flap which only needs .5psi to seal, the guy said it will flow until a 0.5psi backpressure hits it. P/N 251010 At least I hope that how it works, for almost $300 I would hate to get the wrong part.

I've just purchased a -10 non return valve thingie from Earls, it will be fitted on the return line from the can to the sump, they don't do -12 so it will have some adaptors, Damn these things cost. Fingers crossed this will help if there is oil being pushed up the hose. Eastern creek on Sunday, I'm hoping this helps. I should have went dry sump at the start of the build, things would have been so much simpler.

Replace battery and check belt tension, tighten and/or replace if necessary.

Buy the best tyres you can afford and fit whatever size the manufacturer recommends. A good set of tyres may be the only thing stopping you from being dead.

The scoota is gone mate, to many powaahs for me to handle. I reallly hope to make it mate, I still havent brought a car out in anger to a TEXI, its fun watching but if I remember my missgotten youth correctly doing power skids and slides is kinda fun.

I would like to thankyou for all the awesome free power up tips, so all I need to do is remove the vac line from my gate to gets me some awesome power. Will I need to return my car back to stock internals and stock fuel pump to achieve this awesome power. This thread delivers the awesomes. Why would it get locked, awesome free power ups are hard to come by.
