  1. When Im in your part of the world with work Im loving the fishing My PENN 950 with 50lb braid/leader/trace on a PENN steel tip pro 7' rod for the sharkies, a ABU GARCIA cardinal with 20lb mono for bait for the sharkies, and a little SHIMANO PX2000 on a JARVIS WALKER travel mate with 8lb for spinning in the shallows whilst I wait for the PENN or ABU to scream. Best Ive had was at Mapoon FNQ, hooked everything, even got a Saw Fish off the beach, which of course was released. Reefs, Whalers, Hammer Heads, Barra, Queens, Jacks in the rivers and 11ty million breams, I even got a grouper on hand line, awesome trip, Ill look for some pics, post up you pics to motivate me to get up there again. P.S Sydney fishing is rubbish.
  2. GASKETS
  3. On a side note my old stock Turbs ran at 14lb for about 12mths, it was still fine when it was removed to be replaced with a biger one, was I just lucky, was it good servicing, was it the stars ?, just saying.
  4. New plugs, Gap about 0.9 New oil filter and engine oil New gearbox oil New diff oil New air filter New Bosch 040 intank fuel pump (mines running 355atw with one) New fuel filter Remove I/C and clean the insides (it gets coated with oil) Flush and clean radiator Clean/Flush/bleed brake fluid Machine/replace discs and fit new pads Clean /flush power steering fluid All this is what I would do first to ensure engine life and peice of mind. THEN... take it to a tuner and get him to run it up, he will/should tell you what is wrong if anything and whats needed to achieve the power and/or responce your after, talk to him about your budget, if he wont listen he is rubbish and justs wants your money, find a better tuner. All this should cost around $1000, your car will go better, it will be safer, and it will be a clean platform to start from, it all depends on how far/stupid you want to go, this way you will not spend money on parts now that need to be upgraded later, things like injectors, exhausts and ECUs. Work out how much power you want and only buy parts to get that end result, there are lots of shiny things that will just waste your money and not give you any gain. Shop smart, Shop S-Mart
  5. But its street regoed, apparently, in the state anyway. It's cool, saying its not is like saying you only need a Hyundai exel because it can do the speed limit, it would be fun at Texi .
  6. R35s, their not as fast as a VL so why would they be faster than that Supre.
  7. All he does is take people out, he is just DANGEROUS.
  8. Pedal control is something that you need to learn, mine is the same with wanting to bag the wheels, progressive acceleration in relation to road speed, get these two areas right and you should be fine. Even quality tyres will want to break away if you just mash the go pedal, with power come great responsibility, if you just look at the finger you will miss all the heavenly glory, LOL. As Duncan said, whats running in the rear, if its single legging you will need to fix that ASAP. It's like riding a big sports bike in the wet, ease it on, control the rear and its all good.
  9. I saw a mini with a blown 8 years ago at summer nats, it had a 9 inch, so with enough money and time anything is possible.
  10. Do it yourself for a max of $50.
  11. Damn, I'm working.
  12. I'll keep it in mind if I need a new tractor.
  13. Currently have A1RM but need to replace, street and supersprints, need to work from cold and do at least 3 fastish laps at the track at a time, what do you recommend, also PM price for both to 2173 please. Thanks, Mark.
  14. So, if your tyres rub you can run more negative camber than is needed so they dont rub but wear out the insides in 5000k, wrong. Still it depends on your set up, what the car is used for, what compound tyres you have and if its lowered to a good height for handling or a good height for looks. Dude, roll them guards and get biggest tyres that fit without having to sacrifice handling, correct camber not only effects your handling but also your braking. More side wall will give you a more comfortable ride but will effect the handling if the side walls are not stiff enough, less sidewall on the street will smash rims if you hit pot holes but will give you more clearance and less side wall shift . 15. LOL, and I thought I was a crap steerer.

  17. I thought regularity was the stepping stone ? Me so confuse. Suppose its like hook turns in Vic, everyone wants there own system, stupid systems
  18. As a drive it to the event and run it kind of guy I like the way its run, lots of room, no door to door, only overtaking on the straights, it good safe motorsport for guys who just want to have some fun on a track and get timed whilst doing it, and not have to worry about someone in their race car taking me out mid corner. I'm only out there to have fun and not race for sheep stations though. Isn't this what supersprints was first implemented for, Joe Average.
  19. Not legal, some vehicles come standard with them but not Nissan, if you do use spacers for trackdays or other motorsport events ensure they are hub centric bolt on and not slip on.
  20. Dunlop Direzza. WWW.tirerack.com About $170 US a tyre, at your door for under a grand. Shop smart.
  21. LOL, yeah thats a daily and a real sleeper alright. Still, it would fit well in my garage.
  22. Negative on the pics ghost rider, hopefully some make it here, I'll have a look on the renew site.
  23. The 1500 odd kg boat with 235 soft compuond was not a winner, tyres just ate themselves through massive understeer, my set up/alignment was the same as last time out but the 265 Dunlops seemed to eat it up better. I'll be looking at my set up again though.
  24. Yeah mate, the 235 khumos where just not up to the task, I usually run 265 Dunlop R but I got the khumos for free, the car is going in to suspension warehouse for some bushes and adjustable caster arms, while its there I'll get then to give it a good hard look over. Also I'm in the market for some 255/40 17 R medium/hard comp tyres, not sure on what brand though, price will factor in so whatever tire rack has in that size in a motorsport tyre maybe. I want one of those camera thingies you got though, it's awesome, what was the brand and model again ?
