  1. I'm going to have to see what work is doing.
  2. I cannot see how fluid could get from a lunched turbo through the pipe work, I/C, more pipes then a plenum and up a vac tube to squirt me in the eye, if the hose doesnt come of at 20lb Im sure it wont come of if the turbs has dropped its showbags.
  3. 3 tyres were made in 5110 (Dec 2010) and 1 in 0211 (Jan 2011) so as good as if not better than the ones you find here.
  4. Tire rack. Why buy in Australia for twice the money, I was quoted $450 per tyres here but got the same tyres for $159, add on $318 for shipping got the final price to $954 USD for 4 tyres shipped to my door. Here would have cost $1800, that a saving of 47%
  5. Need this in Sydney, sounds great. One question though, what happens when a street car with a half cage enters, the rear seats must be removed for engineering it, is it still classed as street if the engineering cert is supplied. Thanks Mark.
  6. I dont think anyone is having a go at the volunteers, its frustrating about the late notice though, this was going to be my first time at a "real" drag strip. Still, you cannot complain about the rain days, I build roads in my job (plant operator) and the Hwys are still being built, these things are factored in when you are in the planning stage of a job, still it will be finished at some stage in the future and I will get my chance to go fast in a straight line. And thankyou to the volunteers for there help, I hope WSID pays them back in kind. Mark
  7. Needs 15 "steel rims widened to 8in with the biggest rubber that can fit under the guards, with some hub caps
  8. Tire Rack was very helpfull with my quote and then my requote when I wanted the sizes changed a bit, and when I transfered the funds the tyres were on their way the next day, TIRE RACK you rock. My tyres have been released by customs and are about 30 Klm away, LOL, its taken 4 days to travel 15,000 Klm, how long will the 30 Klm take ? Im guessing another 4, lol....

How much power did the saab make, a recent dyno days figures was from 80 to the heady heights of 130 kwatw from the 4 and 6 cylinder variants of teh little turbo saabs, You should be able to buy everything you need from the for sale section to get 250 for under $5000, or sell the 4 door and use that money plus your $5000 and by one which has 250atwkw with better brakes and suspension . Its a buyers market at the moment, lots of bargains to be had if youve got the time, money and nerve for some face to face low ballin. Mark

Ive never done this before so I know not of these "usual rules", I was going to run on some circuit slicks in a soft compound so I dont wreck my Semis, sounds like Im going to run Semi Slicks then, there are more rules in this than there are in a Super Sprint, and they dont turn corners, LOL.   22. ANY 98 ron that I drive past when the needles is on 1/4, Ive tracked the car on everything and have never noticed a difference. When E85 is everywhere Ill get it, but until then it is not worth the trouble of upgrading injectors and pumps and stuff. Carrying a 20ltr jerry of PULP to a track day is bad enough.
