  1. Hole in piston, or just a blocked breather.
  2. Or it you have the money, if I could afford the 10-15K I would go for it, like my car for example, I've spent a stupid amount of money that will never be got back, why, because I can, love watching the race cars bashing through the gears, I would still be as slow as a old mole but it would be 10 x cool. If you can afford it do it but always remember that a 5k job will cost 10k. On a side note cosmetic body kits are like moisturising cream for men, ghey.
  3. Do wants a EVO, they be quick.
  4. Ask questions if you want but dont be a dick, this guy is giving his time to assist us on the day, they are not his rules they are the strips rules, if you dont like them dont come, simple.
  5. The car will be sitting in a shed so not outside.
  6. Better of waxing the car and not putting a cover on, if its open to the elements the cover will scratch the paint and also keep in humidity allowing rust and mould to form, better of letting it dust up.
  7. Nice price mate, I may have to con the missus into giving me a full weekend pass. How many cars/groups you looking at and could you post up some rules and regs and a entry form please. Thanks Mark.
  8. Sports Organic thats had 8 track days and driven every weekend with 260 killer wasps for 2yrs, still goy plenty of meat on it.
  9. LOL
  10. Bilstiens can be had with circlip style adjustments like mine, I prefer to have my car set up to handle correctly at all times, the only thing I sometimes change is camber if I will be doing alot of street driving on street tyres and not semi slicks, dont be fooled by thinking that lowering your car will make it handle better, to a point it will but past that point your steering geometery will be affected and your handling will suffer. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/handling-ride-height-low-too-low-19274.html?amp;
  11. I would just give them a light key with some 1200 wet and dry on the surface where the gasket sits. Cost = about $1.00
  12. Tomorrow is no good, my car is still getting tuned, next Saturday is good for me.
  13. R34 GTT seat mounting points are different to 32 33 and 34 GTRs, there is a thread here somewhere about it, you need to cut and weld the rails for it to fit. Or just do as some people do and only run 2 or 3 bolts, PLEASE DONT. Also my back is arse and the 34 GTR seats are fine.
  14. I wouldnt say fabricating a bit of kit for your car is cheaping out, more like common sense, most stuff you build is better than some overpriced brand named POS. Nice work mate, keep it up. People who can do, people who cannot talk alot.
  15. Classic Darwin awards contender.
  16. "6 speed sequential hollinger", My dick just got a little bit hard. .
  17. SIf your worried about the price of the gearbox then you shouldn't even think about it.

  19. 138 grey motor on super
  20. XR6 Turbo/ XR8 or a HSV Clubbie, I would keep away from high end euro cars due to parts and servicing costs. Big power can be made easy with the XR6 T and nothing sounds as good as a big V8. Lots out there- me, I would go the HSV 6ltr 6 spd Clubbie stock apart from a nice cat back exhaust to give it a nice quite rumble. Price is too high but I would like to look at this http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=10466926&__sid=12E8700EC1C9&__Qpb=true&Cr=0&__Ns=pCar_YearMade_Int32|1||pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_PriceSort_Decimal|0&keywords=&__N=834 1216 1246 1247 1252 1282 1622 713 1561 395 414 246 940 4294964634 898&SearchAction=N&PriceFrom=395&PriceTo=414&seot=1&__Nne=15&trecs=16&silo=1011
  21. Marks 2 cents. Bilstien shocks with lowered king springs, around $1500 for a set if I recall, better than cheap spec coilovers which are to hard for the street, my car handles better on the street and on the track now compared to my old multi adjustable G4 coilovers. Thow in a HICAS lock bar, some good brake pads and tyres and your on your way. Rims size would be to suit the best rubber you can afford, and if you dont have too aggressive camber they should last a while.
  22. Still got some left from selling them at events for $10.00, if your in Sydney and could be bothered Ill give you one for free. The D shacles bolts onto a existing hole on the stock bonnet lock mechanism and the spring clip hooks onto the male section on the top of the bonnet, when open it allows about 80mm gap to get a fire extinguisher in. Rated to 250kg
