  1. A dyno will not tell you how good or bad your response is, My dyno graph from 2 yrs ago was a nice smooth line up to 260kw which looked great but was as laggy as 10 laggy things, in the real world a dyno reading isn't the road, you need something from 1 st to top gear running up from idle to get a good reading of what is really happening . Have a look in HPI no 124 page 81, excellent write up.
  2. Speak to a professional like Yavus at UNIGROUP, there are 11ty GAZILLION ways to go, but really only one right way. Make sure you know what you want from your car first though, budget-lotsa $$$$$-power-response-street-circuit-drags
  3. Try holding the nozzle at a 45degree angle......You should find a sweet spot.
  4. OR, get a RB30 block for $100 and rebuild that, why pay lots when you can get the same for less, lots of 26/30 around to show you how much is to be had for so little. The Japs need spacers and stuff because they didnt get the RB30, suckers.
  5. Store your 26 block away wrapped in plastic and WD40 and go a 26/30, Your GTR has lots of room out back for some good sized rubber. 31 is I believe a rebore of 1mm extra which is the max you can take out of the stock block. Correct me if I'm wrong..

  7. Was this a GTR body or have the rear guards been put on ? Thanks, Mark.
  8. Seen a show on Foxtel which had cars in America which were crushed, made Mark cry seeing some old school muscle as well as Euro and Jap cars being crushed, they didnt even remove a thing, painfull to watch.
  9. The more boost I run the more hydrocarbon liquid stuff ends up in the can, 11 psi I get nothing but at 15 psi after a track day I get 100-200 mils, no oil though, Im running R compound tyres but I don't think my balls and skills are up to pushing to many G,s. Think I need to go faster through corners but someone keeps staying on the brake for to long.....................
  10. Respray maybe, and some drag radials so I can run my mate in his R100 13BT(only for shits and giggles as his car is fully stripped and set up for the drags)
  11. Price and location mate
  12. Im going to kill the person who invented dropdown adds, you dont even click on the bucker and it pops up and freezes my screen. Makes my time on SAU a PITA sometimes. Thankyou very much, come again.
  13. Air bags in steering wheels were made to protect people that do not wear a seat belt, more injury's are caused by airbags that go off in low speed impacts that would not have caused injury, curtain air bags and the seat ones in the newer high end cars are good from what Ive read. I think its crazy that I'm not allowed to use a 4/5/6 point harness in my car even though they are standard features in some high end sports cars.
  14. They should of just asked about the best car that people would want, and have it as stock as a rock so when it gets pulled over it wont cost the driver a fortune in clearing defects. R32 GTR, Original V6 Capri, LC-LJ GTR Torana, RS 2000, lots of better cars out there for enthusiasts.
  15. I seen some nice port matching if that's what your on about, new to motors are you Booby ? Good luck with the sale.
  16. 198 000 14lb 270kw Still got good comp with only slight blow by, only 100ml of crap in the catch can after a track day.
  17. G,day, I want the pictured bar and grill in SILVER. Will pay $500 for a clean undamaged one with lights in SILVER. color code-KLO
  18. Hi, HEL Performance Products wrote: My apologies for the delays, most of which were caused by our supplier producing the needed ADR boots for the hoses. The package was sent, but then returned recently because it was missing some paperwork we were unaware was needed. The package has now been re-sent Thanks Ben
  19. Sent at 2100 19th July 2010 to HEL UK My name is Mark Robinson and I am a executive member of Skylines Australia NSW Car Club, Please find below the list of people waiting on brake lines that payment was made for on the 12 April 2010 by Phil from Australia who did a group buy on behalf of our club. Please contact Phil post haste with tracking numbers so he can let the members know where these goods are. I have used HEL products before but from your Australian branch and they have been prompt with the shipping of these goods, on contacting them in relation to the delay they do not seem to understand why it would be taking so long even with the delay from overseas shipping. Thankyou for your time and we hope to deal with HEL in the future. 1. PMR33 - R33 GTST 2. LUKAS 33 - R33 GTST 3. DYSONEST - S13 4. LOKIR33 - R33 GTST 5. TOYGTR - R32 GTR 6. 89CAL - R33 GTST 7.
