  1. I wouldnt touch the settings if you not 100% sure what your doing, just turn it off.
  2. This guy is a candidate for the Darwin awards.
  3. Or maybe search "indicator" and you will find your answer, i would not have a clue how to insert a link so if someone says search something and gives you a reference use it. Don't be a nob.
  4. It annoys me when the police sit on hwys and other areas that are safe for the higher posted speeds but where are they in the suburbs, my local area is 50kph zone which is fair because of all the kids around, blind corners and round-abouts, but idiots cruise around doing 80 kph or more, drifting around round-abouts and generaly being dicks, but not a cop to be seen.
  5. I can see it now,"Sir did you realise you were doing 101kph in a 100kph zone" Thought there was some kind of factor for speedo calibration being out.
  6. (Is it NSW members only or SAU members only? Cause I'm not a member of the specific NSW group.) Time to join the ranks I be thinking
  7. I drove the route today and checked out stuff and things, finished the day by taking my daughter to Jenolan Caves, I recommend that to anyone, the drive along Jenolan Rd is stupid fun I cheated and took the Great Western HWY home because i thought it would be quicker, bloody road works, took longer than the Bell Line
  8. What you need depends on your set up, me personally i'm looking at oil press, oil temp, water temp and air/fuel, all with warning lights, i don't need a boost gauge as i have a electronic boost controller (PRofec B-spec 2) which has a reading which i never look at anyway (if I'm on boost I'm just holding on and watching where I'm going), I'm just looking for gauges that when i have a quick glance at them if the red light comes on i know to back off because there's something wrong.
  9. New South Wales: Bells Line of Road MOUNTAIN HIGH
  10. Hummers suck, they were a quick design and build up for the US Army. To wide for city streets and not the best at 4x4, also they are not that reliable.

  16. Just remember cars break and always save extra and have a slush fund available for repairs, rego, insurance, servicing, Should be about $3,000 a year minimum. Thats my 2 cents to start it off.
  17. Jap car for bang for buck, then buy a crica 1960s Valiant regal for a daily and become uber cool.
  18. Yes i read the post and both DBA and RDA slotted rotors have failed on the track, but, DBA have changed the metal in their rotors so apparently they are better now.
  19. Dont know about the box but you will stuff the clutch resting your foot on the pedal.
  20. Thanks for the photos guys, My daughter thought all the cars were cool and i got in trouble when she told my misses "we went zooming around some corners" Next one should be longer, Im thinking the Putty, make a full day of it, leave at stupid O/clock in the morning and have lunch near Singo or something along those lines. Im thinking some time near the end of March when it will be a little bit cooler, if anyone is interested shoot me a PM and ill try to organise something.
