  1. Never underestimate your opponent, especially when he has more cubes/torque.
  2. Where do the retail goods come from though, where are they made ? Ill stop my rant in this section as its not about Forced Induction Performance. Dont want to get slapped by the mods
  3. Your telling me that projects that would take 10 years or more wouldnt create alot of jobs ? The construction would be running through the whole country with not just the labour filling jobs but everything else that goes with constuction of that size, I work in construction and have a idea about the amount of planning-transport-stores and everything else that goes with it. And yes we have water in some spots now, but what happens when we go dry again, which we will, We need to plan ahead. $900 will last most people 1 day(and how much of that money will stay in Australia and not go offshore), then when its gone they will be back to where they started from.
  4. True, its not the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog.
  5. Sorry, didnt read the post properly but i cut this from somewhere (go google) The Typhoon gets from 0-100km hour in an unbelievable 5.3 seconds. It is faster than the Mazda RX-8, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, the Subaru Impreza WRX STi and the Nissan 350z. Good base for easy power ups. 2 cents
  6. Why not. My stock internal 25 has got 250ish, cannot imagine it being to hard to get >300 with the ford.
  7. I love that stuff. Keep him in Melbourne.
  8. I thought it was only for families, not single people. This government going to ruin the country, they should be saving the money and use it on building pipelines for water from the north or other infrastructure, that would create jobs and help with the droughts and irrigation problems that the growers are facing, now the country will be going broke-jobless-and starving, families could use it but giving it to everyone is playing Russian roulette with the future, wasting our taxes on hand outs to everyone.
  9. I'm going to make a under-tray for my 33 and was wondering how for back i should go, I was going to tuck it inside the standard front bar and have it cover the whole length of the bar then taper it back mounting it with the points on the sub-frame that the standard one uses finishing just behind the sump plug where another 2 mounting points are, ill be cutting out a section to get to the sump plug. I was going to use 20 gauge alloy. Any tips or suggestions
  10. Will deposit $45 tomorrow for 3 tickets. Super lap will be the bomb, I went to the website and there are lots of tough-arse cars going to be there, Its going to look good but sound so much better. CARNT WAIT-CARNT WAIT-CARNT WAIT.
  11. My first Skyline was a R33 GTS-T, I should have got a R32 GTR as Ive spent enough on the GTS-T to buy 2 good R32 GTR,s, I would be pushing to get $15,000 for the 33 in this market, Stupid me.
  12. Dont buy cheap, get a good 1.5kg one, CHUBB
  13. I'm in the same boat, was looking at the CAMS website which has some info but like you I'm not 100% sure, I think a L2S licence is the way to go for licencing though. Haven't found where to get the triangles from yet but Ive only really just started to get serious about it. 12 months of should i use my streeter which has brake-suspension and power up mods or buy a dedicated car which will be basically stock (maybe a AW11 MR2 as they are cheap, reliable and handle OK when standard) MLR
  14. My backyard physics with wool and duct tape is lightyears ahead of computers and gauges, LOL.
  15. REF Bonnet spacers, I read that to so i tied some wool at each corner and in the middle just inside the bonnet and when i was cruising along between 60 kph and 160kph it was flowing up my windscreen which indicated to me there was good air flow coming out.
  16. I read that you need to remove them before shuting down the motor as the heat is trapped for longer and cooks the oil in the turbs, i think it was the horsepower in a box website. I done the $2 cooling mod that was featured in HPI and found the temp drop in the engine bay components was noticably cooler with my self calibrating hand. I used about 6 washers per bolt on the bonnet hinge to get a lift at the rear of my bonnet of about 10mm, i also removed the rubber seal strip and used some plugs that hold the bonnet sound deadining mat on to fix the plastic bizzo that covers over where the wipers go through. It cost more than $2 though as i had to by slightly longer bolts to, all up about $10 at Bunnings. DISCLAIMER, I also wrapped that Flashing tape shit around my Intake and I/C piping, heat reflective tape with a tar backing, DONT DO IT, it took ages to get the sticky shit looking stuff off and it was a waste of about $50.
  17. PM me with your number
  18. I wouldnt touch the settings if you not 100% sure what your doing, just turn it off.
  19. This guy is a candidate for the Darwin awards.
  20. Or maybe search "indicator" and you will find your answer, i would not have a clue how to insert a link so if someone says search something and gives you a reference use it. Don't be a nob.
  21. It annoys me when the police sit on hwys and other areas that are safe for the higher posted speeds but where are they in the suburbs, my local area is 50kph zone which is fair because of all the kids around, blind corners and round-abouts, but idiots cruise around doing 80 kph or more, drifting around round-abouts and generaly being dicks, but not a cop to be seen.
  22. I can see it now,"Sir did you realise you were doing 101kph in a 100kph zone" Thought there was some kind of factor for speedo calibration being out.
