Cheers mate, all the hard work is done by the locals and the young soldiers we throw at it, all I do is point and the young-uns and tell them to "GO GO GO" I'll be returning soon though as I've got some medical shit going on that needs some attention, nothing serious, just minor maintenance on the old body. Oh to be young again -

The supercharger has arrived at Autotech in Clyde..... I'm in Taree Dooh Should be home in a week or so, I'll book in then and hopefully have it installed and tuned soon after In other, more disturbing news Seen a dead calf today, it was under a big cow, I assume its mother, the cow had its guts hanging out and an unborn calf was hanging out in those guts, I was like WTF, life can be cruel Did have the big sads for them -
Same same, even after I crashed and killed my 86, the cost for comprehensive on my VX SS went from $850 last year to $650 this year But, I have used the same insurer for all my cars over the last 10 years

Harley Davison had to remove their Screaming Eagle super pro tuner from the market, within a couple of minutes the aftermarket came to the rescue with a few options. You can still buy a brand new Harley and tick all the hi-po mods, cams, heads, intake, exhausts, hell, you can get a whole new big bore Screaming Eagle performance engine that the dealers will fit to your brand new bike, with a warranty, with a Maximus or some other tuning box supplying the tune. But, truth be told, if the dealers don't do it, the people who are going to modify their bikes would just find some local bike shop to do it anyway. Just like when people buy a car and send it straight to some speciality tuner shop for the "stage send it" As soon as you play with the tune the car or bike is basically illegal here anyway. What hurts is the heat seakers with pop and bang tunes, or coal burning diesels Idiots driving around going pop and bang and coal burning bring the heat, and the publicity Like when the authorities cracked down on all the 6" lift kitted cars, or the slammed cars, or the whistling BOV, ect. ect. What's more of a concern are all the old trucks that are cruising around the cities I know trucks that roll in the cities, doing runs from ports that can use 1 ltr for every 2km, and poors out more poisonous gases than 10 modified cars could in an hour These trucks are typically running 12 hrs a day, 6 days a week This is where the EPA should be looking, and the government should be helping by giving owner drivers subsidies so owners can sell their old trucks for new, more environmentally friendly diesel or EV for running trucks around the cities Meanwhile, I'm driving a modified old V8 and a modified Harley, so there's that........🤡

Got bored this morning and serviced the bogan cruise "bike", changed the engine oil, 20w 50 and the filter, the chain case and the transmission with 80w 140 -
What do you use the car for? For the amount of money you would spend getting 20hp out of the 30 with NA mods, you could have a good chunk of cash towards a little boost netting alot more, lots of kits available You would need a few drivetrain solutions though Hammer time

Called Harrop today to see when they are sending the HTV2300........well, Covid has struck again, it seems everyone, everywhere, are ordering stuff, lots of stuff, therefore......massive backlog for ordered parts. They start fabricating 2300's for LS1 applications on........ 19 March..... They did say mine will be one of the first to be shipped though -

I carry a brick to chock the back wheel The brick also comes in handy late night shopping after the shops have closed One night, out late with the Mrs, she spies this nice little dress in the window of a shop, she asked "could you get that for me", so I get the brick out, smash the window, and give her the dress....a little further down the road she sees some shoes she likes and askes "could you get it for me"....I got a bit angry at that and said, "what, do you think I'm made of bricks"....... -

Canada 1993 gtr ready for action

I'm talking about the exhaust/turbine housing and dump/screamer pipe That's looks like bonnet and firewall paint melting stuff I had a highmounted old TO4ZE years ago, the heat coming off that was intense, even ceramic coating didn't keep it in check I recommend some form of beanie for the exhaust housing and some form of lagging/wrapping for the dump and screamer at least -

Did the cooling system flush with Rislone flush, although the system seemed clean and nice and red, and was flushed 12 months ago with the SCA flush, after the flush the red turned brown and lots of crud drained out, then flushed the engine and core with clean water for a while before the water cleared up, then fitted the new OEM rubber coolant hoses and jubilee clamps, filled with Penrite red coolant and demineralised water Also swapped out the diff oil with some Penrite pro gear 80w 140, I used Nulon 80w 140 last time, 12 months and 15k km ago, but the diff was a bit slappy with it, the Penrite has worked well in keeping it quite 20 minute test drive and miraculously no leaks Hopefully I can put all the undertrays back on tomorrow -

Found a minor coolant leak, the coolant hose from the overflow to the engine, the clamp has seen better days, and I'm hesitant to just get a new clamp in case it is actually the hose on its way out so, as I tend to do.....I'm replacing all radiator hoses and clamps Lets hope the weather stays good till the parts arrive, riding the bike is the rain sucks balls -
