I wouldn't use a spay on wipe off stuff if you like your paint, hell, I foam and pressure wash my car before I use my microfiber wash cloth. I've done alot of work with soils, in construction, with that alot of soil testing and research. Alot of that fine dust you see is fine sand and silt, both are bulky materials, whilst it is small it does scratch shit up good. But, don't let that get in the way of good marketing

This looks ok? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hydrocell-Portable-Pressure-Washer-w-15-Litre-Tank-GFS-A1/192286872550?_trkparms=aid%3D777003%26algo%3DDISCL.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20161005235629%26meid%3D24acc1f424c84d74be5c9a3f6220ec7f%26pid%3D100689%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D2%26sd%3D192286873010%26itm%3D192286872550&_trksid=p2385738.c100689.m4649 Maybe?

I like power washers, not paint stopper power held close though. I use a little Karcher that has a foam attachment and hose that sucks u p car wash. 1st, I foam the car and let it sit I then Karcher the foam of to remove all dirt and grit that a hose wo u ld leave, I get in nice and deep like.... I then hand wash and dry with bath towels.

Actually, I would be ecstatic if SAUNSW did another Texi so I could do mad skids and run over some cones. As for chopping shit, I'm always up to chop someone, well someone who doesn't know it's a race anyway, I find it easier to win that way. -
Cyber bully, you didn't like the replys and started calling people names. Keep up the rage

Ohhhh, sorry for upsetting your feeling. Were my comments close to home?

Hell yeah, and all the hospitals and aged care. People on the dole should have to do community service for their money. Plus all the junkies and lazy scum on benifits. Plus all the welfare dependence from one scum generation to the next, subsidising their income through drug sales or theft. Always with a hand out for stuff that they think the world owes them. Scum, aarrrrggggggg. The end ?

Some stoked math, which may, or may not be flawed. Average torque increase of 49 (ish) nm, or 29%. Max tq increase of 61 (ish) nm was at about 2250, or 36%. LOL, my math might be flawed, maybe, it does seem right. Note to self: Grow up and "don't" use launch control and FFS at every opportunity. -

Stoked Near on 22% increase from before tune. Stock average is around 107-110, so, assumptions.......my exhaust and intake mods gave me around 5-8 extra donkey powers prior to tuning, then KAPOW, another 32 raging donkey powers. In the end it's around a 25% power gain over stock, I'm stoked. I was hoping for 125ish, did I say I'm stocked. You can really notice it too, the car really wants to rev now, before, not so much. Launch control if full of LOLS, same same for flat foot shifting, rev match just makes shit easier. Overall I'm f**kING STOKED in the car now, it still ain't no rocket ship, but it's so much better than stock now its not funny. -

Negative It has actually got more than I hoped for. Taking it for a drive shortly to test the rev match, launch abd flat foot shifting. I'm excited.... -

Every week in every state there's track days, motokhanas and drag strips open to the public. From as little as $60 at the drags. It's easy to do it legally, with the benifit of emergency services on hand.

Lag between gears after GTX upgrade
The Bogan replied to Boosted Esky's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
How much pressure does the BOV hold, if your dumping all your pressure you might want to adjust your BOV till it just starts to flutter, a bit. I believe doing this fixed, a bit, the same issue I had with my STI. I Basically tightened the thing down till it made the pigeon love call, a bit.... There was no real science behind this, I just wanted the BOV to not dump all the air, how much pressure was retained, f**k knows. Someone smarter will most likely call me a idiot, won't be the first time..... -

So, the car goes for its tune next Wednesday, did the oil and filter, shaked out the floor mats and decided to grab a new air filter, the 17+ manual cars have a different airbox and intake design to previous models. LOL........sooooo, I went past Toyota spares joint and asked if they had a engine air filter, they put in my vin, 17 manual, and then said they had none but could get one shipped next week. And then...I asked how much...$75AUD, I laughed and said "na mate, just the paper element filter", he checked, got his boss to look and then asked if I want to order it now.I laughed and walked, strangely the Ryco one I got is near on the same as the Toyota, except the packaging that is, the Ryco cost me $35 at Repco, and you can pick one up for $20 on fleabay. There is a difference in the number of pleats, but not alot, it is still a big improvement on the crap cotton filters they used pre 17. I'm sure the filter will not pose a restriction, even with my massive NA donkey powers and small torques Also found a awesome icecream factory in Mascot, the daughter and her boyfriend had, something??, not mine didn't care, BUT, I had choc chip, which was awesome, they also sell milk, full tilt hippy shit, $6.00 for just under 1 ltr, LOL, but, my god it's good milk, and it's all mine, no one wants fresh full fat creamy milk, I concider that a win for me. -
If they went by emmissions it would need independent testing, from my experience the manufacturers claims are a joke at best, or, VW diesel gate, or Subaru STI ait pump..... Weight and emmisions is all that should count, anything else is just a cash grab.
-
What baffling is inside though?
-
If its a street car you may get into some strife emissions wise. VTA will definitely keep your intake clean. The VTA can may fill with condensation pretty quick.
-
Routing as stated looks fine. Catch can/oil separator system is more than some steel wool. You really need some baffles in it, or a cyclonic effect to strip the oil out of the air, maybe fuel foam, but, whatever the design, make sure you can service/replace the "steel wool" or fuel foam, ALSO, steel wool can break down and end up on your intake, and fuel foam gets clogged with gunk. Baffles/fuel foam in the cam covers help, ?Mines???

Transporting A Car From Qld To Melb.
The Bogan replied to sl33kLine's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Haven't used them But I would definitely get it transported after inspection. The small outlay is worth the peace of mind of knowing the car isn't going to break down at 3 in the morning, in a area with no mobile service, and the only sound you hear is a banjo and someone whispering "you got a peerdy mouth boy". -

My eye twitches every time I think of my old 33. It's like a Rorschach test every time I see a oil spill. -

I would be wary about making that assumption IRT the FA20 oil pump. "Apparently" when in the high rpm range and high oil temp the oil pump tends to cavitate enough to form pitting and a good drop in pressure, worst case senario is lunching oil pump gear. You can up the oil weight to keep it up a bit, but there are the usual issues with a higher weight oil, more temp, OEM recommend 0w 20, I use 5w 30 (toyota recommend this for "extreme conditions", which I assume equates to my normal driving). Reality wise, it won't be a issue for me, but, if you are building a track car it may be something to think about, well, mainly oil weight and temp control, from googling around there isn't any real fix for the cavitation at high rpm short of a exy dry sump solution. Hell, in the end the FA20 is a cheap econobox power plant, it goes good for what it is.
