  1. New side windows and vents, some plastic polymer stuff, vents are some aircraft stuff, about $100 delivered from the US. Very happy with how they work.
  2. Its hard to say without lots of background info. What's your body weight and height? What's your diet like throughout the day? What training and conditioning do you do? What body type are you? How focused are you? Do you have any injuries or medical issues? If it was me I would just focus on my training and getting my diet sorted and see where that takes me in say, 2 months, if that is going well then sustain or adjust to suit. After my hernia I cut out the low rep stuff and switched to 10 x 10 training, no change to anything else but I lost a lot of body fat in that 3 months.
  3. LOL, fair call. Edit: I wish I had the power of a lawn mower. Edit, Edit: I'm on the Scotch tonight, winning, the brilliant ideas will be coming fast and furious in a few hours time.
  4. You are what you eat, if you always eat rubbish, you will be rubbish, simple, but no counting macaroni's, no fad diets, on that point you can and should eat some crap on the odd occasion, life wasn't meant to be boring. I know its a clique but the paleo (?spelling?) type of lifestyle is simple and effective, and it doesn't cost a lot either. I'm also confused why people are fascinated by trying to get their BF levels into the unhealthy range for long term, I know there are different body types and stuff but isn't the healthy range around 18-20%BF for active males? Everyone I know who has tried to keep BF levels below these levels haven't held it long term, or are that worried about what they eat their lifestyles suffer, or their health/stamina/recovery. If you are stripping for a comp or fight or something to get yourself to or below a certain number, then I can see the point then.
  5. A great man once said "No great idea was ever conceived while eating a salad" I get all my best ideas after drinking some cool beverages.
  6. http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/2005-2006-nissan-altima-se-r-discussion/378842-de-powering-steering-rack-manual-steering.html#/forumsite/20547/topics/378842 Similar but different, or as fats has stated, only difference would be the ratio.
  7. Neil, the problem with the PS when the belt is removed is that you are trying to pump hydraulic fluid through the system by arm power, when you fully depower a rack all fluid is removed and a grinder is taken to the internal piston which is pressed on inside the rack, this eliminates the pressure you have when the belt is removed/fails/falls off, the removal of the piston removes the internal air pressure which means you can bung the old PS fittings. If you can find a spare rack, strip it down and look for the piston on the steering rod inside the rack. The steering will be slightly heavier when you are moving slow but once you are moving it is easy as. I was going to get a manual rack for mine but found that if fully depowered the rack I would have better ratios (less turns lock to lock), Ive driven a 5 with a manual rack and I prefer the depowered one. Took me about 6 beers from full PS to fully depowered. GOOGLE "De-powering a Miata power steering", I assume that all PS racks would be basically the same. Rock and Roll
  8. What is the beastie weighing now, you seem to have pulled some fat out of it. Can you "depower" the steering rack? I was bored and did it to the 5, the steering is actually better I find now, I did cut out the internal piston to negate the internal pressure, with brackets, pumps and fluids I lost about 10kg (ish). Guess the weight????? My guess is 1432.6 kg with half a tank of fuel and a driver half full of beer.
  9. Maybe, I'm after something clean with more than 2 seats, looked around at a few cars, not in a rush, if this is around in a couple of weeks when I've got my "spend some money hat" on again I may have a squiz. It does tick most of the boxes of what I'm looking for.
  10. If its still here next week would viewing on 16-17 May be possible
  11. My sessions take between 1/2 to 1 hour, I work about 200 meters from the gym so it would kill kittens if I didn't go, plus by the time I get home the minister of war and finances will have dinner ready for me (if I'm good), as for recovery I only train 1 muscle group hard once a week (except for the bicepticons which I am hitting twice due to vanity) , so lots of time to recover, plus I eat 6 times a day, eat well and can eat/drink everything and have no idea what a macro is, is it a biscuit? I like biscuits.... I've cut away the 531 due to joint and cartilage problems ( there's not enough fish oil and glucosamine in the world) and am now again rolling with the GVT method which is much easier on the body parts and a good cardio hit to boot due to strict rest periods, 10 x 10 sets = 90 sec, 3 x 15 fluff sets = 60 sec. 1. Bench 10 x 10, 1 Arm Row 10 x 10, Inc Fly 3 x 15, Seated Row 3 x 15. 2. Weighted Dips 10 x 10, Bar Curl 10 x 10, Rope Tri Ext 3 x 15, 1 Arm Kettle Bell Swings 3 x 15. 3. Power Cleans 7 sets of 5 reps. 4. Mil Press 10 x 10, Pull Down 10 x 10, Lat Raise 3 x 15, Push Down 3 x 15. 5. Front Squat 10 x 10, RDL 10 x 10, GHR 3 x 15, BB Curl 3 x 15. With 2 morning conditioning sessions thrown in there somewhere. I use the same weight for all exercises, increasing if I make all the reps, the cleans are 40-45-55-60-70-75-80 % of my 1 RM of 90kg, again increasing by 2.5 kg if I get all 5 on the 7th set, Cleans get a 3 min rest between sets because they break my balls. I also throw in farmers walks in sometimes on the Clean days as the Cleans only take about 30 minutes. I still need to get some 0.75 plates as the 1.25 plates are getting heavier on some of the movements and a smaller increase would be better IMO.. P.S Running can now kiss my arse.
  12. LOL, I'm training 7 times over 5 days, 5 strength and 2 cardio.
  13. I assume it was based on me only shopping at home for sex but my partner could consider dinning out at a different restaurant. Birds being Freud (ient slip).
  14. Haven't noticed any difference energy or strength wise, its not like you stop making your baby batter, you just don't fire the stuff out the barrel, like everything lots of people have lots of different views and opinions of the procedure. Just like the good "General Jack D Ripper" said, "I do deny them my essence". And I don't need to bother with the half concern concept, some do, not me though.
  15. I only shop at home now so the gaids and stuff is of no concern
  16. 2 days off then light duties for a week, it was fine after about 3 days, lots of swelling for 2 days then it was gone. Not painful though, just slight discomfort for a day or 2. I tell you what though, its brilliant not worrying about pregnancy is a huge bonus, its like anytime anyplace anywhere now. Good times.
  17. The old chop chop.
  18. Actually its going well, no more kids to worry about, 3 is enough.
  19. I haven't used "that type of glove" since my vasectomy.
  20. Wow, lots of dear diary stuff. Anyways, my new bag gloves are the awesome, but my $3.00 flea bay wraps are to short.
  21. That's definitely stage 2 mods after beating night stalker on the LA road stage.
  22. How many people actually check the paint codes, enthusiasts, maybe most, general punters, not many I wouldn't think. And after registering the colour change with the DMT/RTA/BOATSANDCARSANDSTUFF the car will be registered as at new colour. I would buy a resprayed car if it was the colour and modified the way I wanted, after I had a accident check done and climbed around under the car checking rails and such of course. I've seen a lot of older cars (big dollar old steel bumper cars) which have had a colour change done properly and you cannot tell (unless you look at the codes on the plate) you do need to strip the car to a bare shell but in the end if you get a good (read proper) job done you would never know. And really, we are not talking about a $???,??? classic cars. I agree with the comments about the price dropping, over the next 5 to 10 years fairly substantially too, just like the 32 and 33 did. As for the 32,33 ,34 variants, Its really about the body shape you want in the end, you are going to be looking at it in your garage. For me, a white 32 with a 33 - 34 powertrain/interior would be nice to look at in my garage. Good luck with your hunting.
  23. LOL, there is a lot of random yelling in defence.
  24. I find the old "COME ON" and "YEAH" when I'm setting up helps with my motivation on my heavier lifts, one of the boys at work pulls some big numbers and swears by it, also a big hard slap on the middle of the back. I was a big skeptical but from googling around when you yell prior to or during a big lift it releases some brain juice stuff that helps. Apparently its used a lot in everything from lifting to fighting, basically an anger or pain thingie that helps get the rage on. Rage is good, LOL.
  25. Swap they word "help" for "might", there's allot of good marketing but not allot of evidence that it might help during a workout.
