I mix the BN BCAA with the powdered poweraid stuff, it tastes good, mixes well, and is 11ty times cheaper than anything else, I don't like to spend money on a name or a flavor. Plus I'm usually in the zone and the flavor of something is overshadowed by the fact that I'm pacing around getting the anger on for the next set.

Those Fusbal shoes I got are the bomb, did some cleans and some presses to test them out, I thought the chucks were good but after wearing these I doubt Ill ever use chucks again. Here's my latest 531 style program, its had a fair deload on it and works antagonist muscle groups, whilst my guts is healing Ive dumped squats for front squats as they don't aggravate my injury, I'm also having a vanity moment and have added BB curls twice a week. EDIT: I also do alternating 1 arm kettle bell swings to get to the 1 hour mark, sets of 20 a side, fun exercise.

Picked up some futsal shoes to replace my old chucks, they have a hard flat sole. They seem to be halfway between oly shoes and the thin soled cross fit shoes. And for $55 dollars they are cheaper than the chucks, the cross fit shoes and the oly shoes. They seem better than the chucks, much better than every crossfit shoe I looked at, and whilst oly shoes are much better, for the weight I'm throwing around they will surfice and are much more practical as a all rounder.

I've got a guard roller if you need to borrow one. Won't get a lot of "pump" but it helped get the 255/60 17 M/T drag radials under my old boat.

My cardio over the last 2 months has been anything from 10 reps and up. On that I have been playing with my new (I hope my guts hold up) program and apart from my regular morning cardio/ circuit I have allocated Wensday as my boxing circuit day, mostly bag work with skipping, getting a regular sparring partner is proving difficult at work. I thought more people at work would be keen to punch me in the face, LOL. Im also doing power cleans twice a week, before deads and squats, 531 style. I need to work on my strenght as whilst the GVT has been good for recovery my strenght has suffered. On a side note, work got a new gym complex, whilst it has potential I thought it was funny that the idiots decided that puting the lifting platforms under some stupid smith machines was a good idea.

I keep getting told at work to stop "getting hold of the old fella". Sorry

Try sitting in the full squat position with no weight, hold it for a couple of minutes or until you feel pain, rinse and repeat a few times every day for a while.

Near Stock R32 Gtr And $20g. What Would You Do?
The Bogan replied to JTCC's topic in General Automotive Discussion
My 2 cents of advice. Suspension, bushings and brakes, maybe some R34 GTR rims, full service as well including timing belt, all oils and fluids. Keep the spare cash for when it breaks. -
I'm enjoying the GVT, on the 3rd week now and weight is steadily increasing whilst scale weight has dropped 3kg with no change to diet, basically stripping some fat I believe as I am seeing some more muscle definition, I do get mad DOMS from 100 front squats, magnesium is my friend there. On the topic of my abdominal injury, its been diagnosed as a "athletes hernia", lots of small tears where the muscle connects near my groin, some physio and time of heavy weights is all that is needed. On the topic of bloating, have you tried the good bacteria stuff you can buy, I give that a go whenever I feel the bloat going on, works a treat for me. When was the last time you wormed yourself, seriously, I dose once a year, all it takes is some grubby bastad to contaminate some food they are preparing or from animals you have touched. Google "human parasites" for a eye opening experience.

Drink it quick or put in some cinnamon in it, cinnamon is a excellent spice with lots of health benefits. I blend 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 30 g LSA and 30 g vanilla protein on my weetbix in the morning, YUM. BN coffee, mocha and choc mint taste like blahhh IMO. Chocolate and vanilla are good to go though.

Kids these days don't know how easy it is for everyone to have big power. My GTR LJ with 202 and triple SU's would need tuning every week or 2. I keep wanting to purchase a old steel bumper car, but then I think of fuel costs, my last real car was a early Bronco which used about 30 l/100k. On topic, good would on the 186.

Wow, yes its going to be expensive, he said he didn't care about cost, if I had money to throw around I would get a Toyota 4 litre V8 in my 5 and then blow it, is that smart or stupid, who cares what other people think, I don't. As for the RB, yes it was a good OLD motor, but by Christ there are better newer powerplants out there. Stop posting, buy it and build it, post in here when its done. As for the fab work, you need a pelethera of subject matter experts and fabricators for a project that involves lots of mechanical and electrical engineering. Its been done before, its not new, just make it happen. BTW, all this talk about street racing makes me think you are a pimply school kid, if this is indeed true, please go away now, thanks for the LOLS everyone.

GOOGLE " Project no-flight update ", its update 2007 It was a 65 Corvette I believe others had them as standard, back when Jebus wore shorts, EDIT: Model T Ford did

Can you fit a window strap like the old cars had, I think the MG or porka had some. I think from memory the difference between electric and manual is minimal due to the extra weight of the winder mechanism, well that was the case for the Mazda anyway. Rock and roll

Good news on my abdomen, it seems I only tore some muscles and not another hernia, no heavy lifting for a while though. So today I started some GVT, day 1 was chest and middle back, 10 x 10 of DB bench followed but 1 arm row for mains. As I haven't done a lot of volume for a while 100 reps of each although with a light weight I am feeling it now. 3 months of this should be interesting. I'll drop in my program once I've been through it and am happy with it. Sadly no squats, cleans or deads in it till my current injury is sorted. I'm using 600mm step ups and RDL for legs if the guts can cope. 100 step ups should be interesting, I'm also waiting for Thursday when I'm meant to do 10 x 10 of heaves, I assume I will need more than 10 sets to get the 100 out. Fun times ahead, LOL.

I got a vein they seem to like

Yeah, I've been there 3 times before, it sucks but recovery is quick.
-
Not sure, I've had some ultrasounds but still waiting on the docs assessment. I've had 3 operated on before and it felt the same when it let go, big tearing then I hit the deck. Oh well, looks like some time off and then get back into it slowly, again... Stupid guts.

I have done a hernia doing sprints. Shitf**k

Wrap is cheap and easily replaced. It is definitely looking the buisness. Excellent job mate.

The Bogan replied to Eug's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Cheapest and best mod for na is to remove weight. Remove everything you can. -
Mlr's Nb Mx5

Carpet was smelly so as you do I ripped it out and binned it, dry iced the deadening and finally painted it. I got some grip tape from flea bay so after the paint has cured I will cover the foot well in it. -
I need to work more on my flexibility, my hamstrings need some serious work. For years I would work on my flexibility for the same amount of time as my strength training, sadly I backed of on it for a few years and I am now paying for it. Over the last couple of weeks I have got back into working on it, foam rolling, rolling around on a cricket ball and stretching whenever I watch the TV. I'm 50 in a couple of months, if I want to keep lifting (and sleeping without back pain) I need to sort this out, other wise injuries will keep coming fast and furious.
