its all good.... i'm learning from the heated discussion lol very interesting
-
Ok so ill try and find a tuner thats good around my area of sydney... then he will be able to tell em what is what and how everything is running all after a service of course... then once i find out what he says i can determine what i need to do to fix the mis firing.. and what he recommends with upgrades to reach my goal/s ill also definately ask him about the EMS Stinger
-
how much do tuners go for on a rough average? just want to get an idea I really want to work on my car... get it up around 300rwkw sounds pretty good to me... or more... doesnt bother me haha How do i take the injectors out btw?
-
so ill have to take an injector out to show ya's? how exactly do i take it out? and yeah i believe it is a stand alone... dont know y the stock ECU is there.. maybe too lazy to take it out? lol i dunno and yeh i thought it was a stock 33 turbo made hi flow... ill try get some pics of how its connected and the side of the injector
-
hey guys, I just took these pictures.. one is of one of my injectors, my turbo, my ecu and my stinger EMS computer The turbo has a badge on it (top left hand of the turbo.. next to that bolt that has a G on it lol) that has "XTR GCG Turbo's Australia" What do you guys think? Pics:
-
yeah na man thats fine... i bought the car how it is and id LOVE to find out if the guy gave me the right info on the car bout the injectors etc ill get some pics for ya's Thanks
-
wow there is alot more info for me.. thanks guys maybe soon i should get it checked... after my service... and just the basic plugs will be fine then?? saves me some money lol... that money can go towards the tune and other things.. WYTSKY - yeah i dont really know what im running exactly so heres what im going to do: 1) get the service 2) take the car to a tuner so they can check out EXACTLY what im running 3) ask them for advice about it 4) perhaps get it tuned (because i really think it needs it) 5) see how it goes with the missfiring 6) if its still screwing me over then ill look at fuel pump & coil pack Maybe if i take some more pics of the engine bay and things (ie my turbo) people might be able to tell me what it is? it could be worth a shot? lol
-
haha yeah i was thinkin bout gettin better rims haha... ah well thanks for the plugs to get aswell... im gettin a service soon so ill get him to get those particular ones.. ill hopefully be gettin my car tuned and checked out soon so then ill find out what im running... ill let you know once i find out the guy said they were upgraded injectors but cant be too sure untill i actually get them checked out aye lol yeah i was thinkin coil pack or sparkies could be the issue... so the service will help with the spark plugs... if it isnt that ill change the coil pack... heard good things about the Spit Fire coil packs... how are they? thanks again for your help mate

^ just going to ignore that joeyjoejoejuniorshabadoo i live in sydney... its good to know that someone is trying to help me... no need for these people to continue being rude... i said i was a dick... so get over it
-
Im sorry for being ignorant and wasting your time... but you could of expressed yourself a little better see the problem is im not too sure on all of the things my car is running... i bought the car how it is now... and only had it for a month... i haven't had time to get it all checked out to see exactly what im running it has an EMS Stinger I believe an upgraded turbo from GCG Turbos or made high flow from GCG's Supposeably bigger injectors (but once again im not sure) turbo back 3" exhaust pod filter in box Front Mount running Vortex Premium 98 going for a major service soon and will be using those $25 a plug sparkies (platinum ones?) at the moment its only running 7PSI... but with the 225rwkw it was at 13PSI i believe... and thats it so far i think

thankyou R33cruiser and r33-d-rift yeah its just a problem i've been having with the car kinda stuggling and kinda miss firing at high end when on boost... every other time its fine.. The Mafia i dont see why you have to start talkin about the fact you made those gains by yourself? it has nothing to do with anything. But i do admire the fact that you were able to make those figures by yourself... i wish i could oh and im not an idiot... i do know what a Fuel Pressure Regulator does im probably running 230rwkw I came to this site to learn as much as i can... ask some questions when i need help... as thats wat the site is for.. but then the first post i get doesnt help anything... doesnt make ya feel very welcome... makes me think that i cant get help when i need it... im sure when you first started out you didnt know much either... so cut me some slack and maybe try to start to help me out... also the reason i asked about the FPR being hooked up is because i got told by another skyline owner to come on here and ask about it because ppl are "nice" on here and respect each other.. and that i could get help...
-
no need to be a d*ckhead.. just because your running around that figure doesnt mean you have the right to be a f*ck face about it. im having fuel cutting issues at high boost and was hoping to try this out... (and yes ive thought about coil packs, spark plugs etc) so f*ck off unless you really want to give me some help as im new to the whole skyline scene BTW im not running a stock car... so STFU

Hello all, Ive been fiddling around with my Series 1 R33 GTS-T and was hoping to hook up my aftermarket fuel pressure regulator that is just sitting in my engine bay doing nothing (was there when i bought the car) I just have a couple of questions 1) What type does it look like? (brand? etc doesn't seem to say anything on it... so if anyone has seen one of these let me know) 2) How do i hook it up? Below are some pics of the FPR and another pic so maybe someone can show me where to attach it... lol I know i need to bypass the stock FPR otherwise theres no point hooking up the FPR lol Pics: Any help would be great guys, Thanks, Palmer
