  1. you have no idea =.= I think its pre christmas stress.
  2. You don't say that to him Jamie, not because you're being polite and letting him have his fun, but because you dont need to. Kris doesn't tend to disparage other Skylines (or most other cars) unless theyre riced. In which case its deserved. tongue in cheek or not... Bez is right. This is not the place for disparagement and trash talk. SAU is all about the whole different strokes for different folks thing...some people like 32s. some people like VTECs. Some people like celicas. Some people make do and put an effort into what they have because as P Platers, like Alfy, he doesnt have much else of a choice within the bounds of the law. I don't have a problem with you personally Jamie, you know that. but just...think next time.
  3. Put mine in a few days ago
  4. Call Centre consultant with IT Support...inbound... for now...
  5. of which there are also none. Why learn something im never really going to use? i avoid the city at all costs. Between Ballarat and the SE...i have everything i could ever need, shopping wise.
  6. Spotted at least 4-5 skylines last night at the New Moon opening day in Ballarat 1x black r33 series 2 1x rice white and blue r33 with supra wing 1x black r32 GTR 1x black r33 series 1, stock standard 1x mottled green/pearl white r34 sedan That accounts for almost all of the skylines in Ballarat
  7. I understand the need for it, i dont understand acting like its the be all and end all of driving when its only necessary in the cbd of one city in victoria. No brett...there were no questions relating to trams OR hook turns on either my learners or probationary.
  8. would be interesting to see if theres a difference in figure, but i dont think i can make it sigh
  9. tentatively in, dunno which town im in that weekend.
  10. +1, midnight birthday messages ftw Happy birthday Beza.
  11. Guys i think a little bit more clemency is required here, not ridicule as such. The only place in Victoria, as far as im aware at least - is in CBD Melbourne. If you rarely go to the city and get caught out in an area where you are required to do a hook turn it can be quite a scary thing if you don't know how. As with the guys' quotes below, myself living in Ballarat (which is relatively large...in terms of rural population) as I have done my whole life, we're not actually taught hook turns - why would we be when we have nowhere to practise them? We dont have trams anywhere here. Besides maybe the one they bring one vintage one out for the begonia festival. Point is, if youre not expecting to have to perform one, or dont know how to perform one, i believe its unfair to get anything but a warning for that if you havent done anything serious like caused an accident. If youre a local, different story, but some of us get lost in the city without realising. Fair to say learn. Where? for me at least its something like 130 kms to get to the city. Its also unfair to say 'you shouldnt have a licence in victoria' if you cant navigate one tiny part of it.
  12. well thats a good point. Decembers lookin pretty hectic for me.
  13. we own asian cars, we like asian food. it makes sense. hehe. chickens so boring i dont really, the nori leaves a funny taste in my mouth and i find the smell a bit off putting. I prefer rice paper rolls - susshi filling wrapped in rice paper. All other asian food is also good...for the most part.
  14. Just for something different...

  18. course i do. was nice of him to try though i just figure more people are gonna be able to make things on a weekend anyway, given the majority dont work weekends. never understood the whole lets make every meet on a thursday mentality.
  19. well i have work every other day of the week...till late every night...in Ballarat. Makes things somewhat difficult
  20. mmyep i get there late on friday night tho. sooo... lol if that works out for you. (saturdays are better)

  23. I would assume not given we hadn't paid yet.
  24. As above. I drove an N16 pulsar for 3 years because even with power to weight on my side i couldnt get a Skyline. I had the option of borrowing and buying an S15 Silvia Spec R (turbo). Chose to wait with my old girl till i was 21 cuz id only end up buying a Skyline instead. Couple months after i got my full licence i bought my first Skyline - my GTR
  25. Congratulations. you get pulled over in this scenario, even for something stupid like forgetting to indicate and youre screwed. Because not only do they discover youre a P plater who isnt displaying points - which is also minimum 3 points, by the way - you also get done for the car...and lose your licence completely. This is why we tell you to keep your head down until youre 21. There is no point risking so much for the sake of a couple of years longer wait. Because, also, if you lose your licence thats on your insurance record for the next 5 years and theyll charge you through the teeth for the privelege of covering the thing.
