Amen. Ad i'll be honest. I love the long indicators on my 33. The blinky dot thing they gave the 34 just wasn't cricket =( R33 <3
  3. ^^^me too I'm 21 = young and female... and some of my better guy friends drive/build VLs and such (who actually ENCOURAGED me in buying my Skyline) ...yet i own an R33 GT-R and think its the hottest, meanest thing ever? Assumptions. Not always correct.
  4. Should i be ashamed? i only have a 2002 Honda Integra Type R. and a lil hotwheels Civic *blush*
  5. Think the only NAs dennis has are 4 doors afaik. But yeah they say all that... My invoice for my GT-R said the guys wanted the cheque to clear before they'd hand it over but I asked about it and he said it was fine to give him the bank cheque the day I got it.

Aww come on, the point was that the skyline was attractive to women. I'm a women and i'm attracted to it? Wasn't saying anything about anyones manhood at all =b

Yeps that's totally why I bought one. Was like oh damn that cars so attractive XD
  9. Ah yikes. Iunno they let me without a deposit- dennis driving. But then again I had been calling them constantly for 3 weeks so they knew I was for real lol
  10. lol they all look really nice... trust me happy hunting
  11. True. I still have trouble behaving in it =b but would definitely be a worse situation had I had it from the outset. We learn from mistakes...or try to. I've had a couple crashes in my pulsar that I like to think have made me more observant as a driver.
  12. I find the time estimates on google maps to be pretty accurate, maybe look at that? but theyre right, at LEAST 20 mins more in peak traffic.
  13. I agree for the most part - my friends and i did our p's under the old laws, one of my friends saw out her p's on a vs statesman v8 cuz of power to weight. And my parents still highly disapproved of my buying the GT-R for that exact reason - you won't be able to handle it, that thing will kill you, etc.
  14. They do all compliances, repairs, RWC etc on site, yes they have a hoist. Theyre open 9-5 weekdays from memory and 12-4 saturdays, though the mechanics have the day off on saturday.
  15. I hate to sound like a grandma on this or something...but while im not in agreeance with a lot of the laws surrounding young drivers (1 passenger from your peer group for example) but those laws are there for your protection (power to weight and such). They were put on place for a reason - being the amount of young drivers killing themselves in cars they had nowhere near enough experience to handle. for example - driving a tricked out V8 clubsport for the first time on the day you get your ps is going to end in nothing but tears and heartache. They want you to learn to drive first before you think about a car thats a lil harder to handle. While its been said before on the forum - yes theyre just going to push a lil 4 cylinder harder than its possibly meant to be driven and kill themselves ANYWAY, this can't be helped. They do what they can, and this is why you lose your licence and your money if youre busted in a car youre not allowed to drive. think about it. Its only 3 years. Yes it sucks that you cant drive what you want straight up. but its for your own safety. And from experience, its worth the wait.
  16. Plz see my reply in your other thread for this Damo =D
  17. Unfortunately with both of the cars you are looking at - you will have issues with negotiating the price. As stated in both ads, both cars are listed at cost price to the dealer. Theyre just looking to break even on them, rather than suffer a loss. No profit will be made by them on either of these vehicles. You would have a problem talking ANY dealer down past cost price, not just Dennis. Usually in terms of test driving their cars, due to expense, insurance and all of the cars being unregistered, Dennis usually takes the trader plates and takes you for a ride in the car. I'm not certain if this is the same for the NAs, this is simply how it went down on my GT-R - and for an asking price of 25000 its completely plausible to do so. JapCars are generally happy to see you whenever youre available, will take you for a test drive when you want to, etc. Theyre very friendly, honest and laidback where their cars are involved. Their mechanic Bob once told me, when i was looking "whats the point of selling a lemon car? You spend a lot of time and money trying to make it right to be sold and then if it still has problems it just keeps coming back and costing you even more time and money" - so generally speaking all the cars there are pretty much faultless. You should be fine. Let me know how you go - and once again, make sure you tell the guys i said hi =b
  18. Okie - I have a photojournal of the days events to show you all =D Ao first, my naighbours have been burning off a lot of tree matter and such for the last day or so. Dumping a TON of ash on my poor GTR - as below: So i took the car for its first bath since i bought it two weeks ago. And then brought it home only to find TWO fires had now been lit and ash was continuing to rain from the sky like it was judgement day. So i took the car out again, to get this: Car is now clean and mostly ash free. But it cost me some to get it that way =( Oh well. Anything for my baby <3 hehe
  19. Unless they don't work properly you wouldn't really need to look into Splitfires. i believe its mostly to do with what theyre actually made of that make Splitfires so handy, they perform better under pressure - the usual aftermarke jibe. Personally never had to change the coilpacks in my 33 so i really have no idea. One of the other guys may be able to help you with that though. Perhaps try a search on coilpacks and see if that helps. Now, turning to the car itself...youre looking at this one? http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...dealer_id=12510 Bar on that one is stock standard. For the money (being the same) have you considered the 2000 model? Being as it has less km's and such, being even a year younger to most people makes this appear a better buy on paper. But both cars look clean.
  20. I think i know the one. very nice car.
  21. 2 Evo 6s and 1-2 Evo 7s. No 8s. And i was only there a week ago =D But the sites a good way of checking out their stock yeah.
  22. Congrats on the new arrival =D
