  2. Point was made earlier in the thread (wihout resorting to insulting anyones car, no less.) The most likely reason that this person wants a lil more out of their NA...is not because they prefer the GTS to GTST or GTR...but for legal reasons. P-plate laws are harsh.

  5. Personally i FASTed every GTR i looked at. i understand the point youre trying to make. Just advising that the cause is not necessarily that the car is not what it claims to be.

  8. That depends entirely on what you want the car for. Before buying my white GTR i was intending to look at a black one the dealer had had...Blitz Nur Spec R catback, FMIC, aftermarket rims all already included. With a GT-R...youre not gonna get your average buyer looking at buying one. Its not a case of...oh that new Hyundai i30 looks good...but theres also this GT-R too... Its not like that. The majority of buyers interested in a GT-R, while stock is preferable for some because then they can do their OWN modifications, Pre-modified GTRs have their calling in saving dollars in parts and labour for the new owner - because its already been done.

Place i got it from regularly has em, sells between 25-30k depending. if there are any mods the price tends to be cheaper cuz more people are after stock. Mine was 25 cuz it has fully adjustable suspension =o Not sure if its a Vspec. I dont think it is...but it has the same fromt as a vspec...the diffuser bar etc... and it has ABS but other than that no idea =b So im probably just gonna say nup. *edit* As seen in the fasted thread...you heard it here. Non-Vspec.

  11. yeah i know the sr20 turbo was in the GTiR...i think they did use the NA prior to or around the same time as the CA18/16 though. Not 100% sure but wiki seems to back me up lol

Ran it through FAST when i bought it but the program has since been evicted by parental units, and im interested in dissecting the model code to find out if the car is a V spec or not. there are a few things that suggest that it is, but it wasnt old as one, ec. So for the sake of curiosity, if we could - BCNR33 041082. Please =D
  13. that engine was in the n13-n15 pulsar in various trims yeah? My advice for what its worth is in line with the guys telling you to keep to your 'crap bucket' p plate car...its worth the wait, trust me. I had my N16 pulsar till i turned 21...now I have a GTR, and the pulsar is now a spare car for when i need it, or for my sister to learn in. Just makes it that little bit more special, having to work towards and wait for it. Its not worth the grief of the wrong sort of attention and such.
  14. If you don't like the colour dont buy it. simple. For the price of respraying the entire car on top of purchase price...you may as well have forked out the extra 6k for a car in good condition...that you actually like every aspect of.

  16. One word only. eww. A painted black bonnet never impresses. as stated above - it makes both the car and its owner look cheap. and its so over the top and unnecessary... You want a black bonnet? Buy a black GTST instead.
  17. the only notable difference between the two seems to be cosmetic - a different wing and picked out/enhanced 'skyline' across the back on the S1.... from memory. i may be wrong.

  20. That's more for if I say...dropped an SR20DET in my QG18DE N16 Pulsar. For example. Any differences in relation to engine power need to be taken into account for your premium and can turn nasty if u have an accident and the car isn't the same as what they've agreed to cover. RB26 to RB26 should be fine.

  23. While that may send off warning signals there are other factors that may have lead to the sticker having to be re-added to the car. resprays, accident damage or such. Its also possible that the CF bonnet may have been switched out...there are extra reasons for everything =b As long as hes happy with it, should be all that really matters. Cant be any worse than most of the GTS-ts in melbourne having GTR badges fitted to their boots. Half of which are probably stolen from real GTRs...damn badge thieves.
