its not a bad game. still in early stages i suppose so can only get better. I like the fact that real cars are in it. Just seems to lack something in the realism, when compared to say Live for Speed. Condering its free though, its damn good. Shits over most other games you're expected to pay your hard earned money for

Okay, I agree with Rezz - the 180sx (or 200SX Type X in AUstralian GT3) is by far the best and easiest car to drift in. Here are the settings I use: Car: Nissan 200sx Type X Mods: Everything Approx HP: About 460hp ----- Tyre Choice----- Front: Racing Super Soft Rear: Normal ----- Suspension ----- Spring Rate Front: 6.0 Rear: 7.9 Ride Height Front: As low as it can go Rear: Just a touch higher than the front Damper Bump Front: 5 Rear: 7 Damper Rebound Front: 6 Rear: 7 Camber Front: 10 Rear: 0.5 Toe Front: 0.5 Rear: 1.5 Stabiliser Front: 3 Rear: 3 ----- Brakes ----- Front: 4 Rear: 24 ----- Gearing ----- LSD Initial Rear: 50 LSD Accel Rear: 50 LSD Decel Rear: 10 Gear Ratio I just set this to be about 21 or 22 (auto setup) and then changethe 6th gear to be as low as it will go. This gives you maximum torque in all the gears but lets you stretch the legs a bit on 6th. ----- Others ----- Down Force Front: n/a Rear: 0 Traction Control 0 Stability Control 0 This setup I have found gives awesome control of the car. Extremely responsive steering and so much available torque you can spin the wheels in any gear. For an explanation of drift techniques. It even explains how to do them: http://www.driftsession.com/technique.htm I find that my style of drifting is mainly the Feint Drift and Power Over. However I also use the other styles when needed like Braking Drift for slow corners, E-Brake Drift for quick flicks like linking corners and Kansei Drift for high speed corners. Hope this helps some for those having troubles. I'll try and get some footage of my drifting asap.

ok, i have been playing around some more with my drifting style. Still faaaaaarrrr from perfect but getting the hang of it now. Lots of subtle control is required I'll try and get a video of it over the weekend. Then you can comment on my technique I have found the Mazda RX7 RZ a really nice car to drift. Will post my setup settings too. Rezz, I really didn't find your settings worked for me... dunno why.

where is the proof to back up these insane times? I've been having a bash and get no where near 1:11's in the GTR If you prove it with some video I'll believe you Otherwise you all just LIARS!
