Good work on the K&N Filter price online, I got impatient so bought it at Autobarn, I think it was $20ish.

I'm pretty sure cars being sold purely for race/rally use don't need compliance however they can never be registered as they are sold only for that purpose. Kristian could probably detail more.

Hey mate, cheers for the response. From what I quickly searched on FAQs for Uprev, as long as it's properly unmarried, it should work. I guess returning to stock should do, is there any way of finding out if you have properly unmarried it? Lol just don't want to get stuck. Also do you know your ECU number (you can PM it to me) if you don't mind me asking, just wanted to compare with mine because I know there can be compatiablity issues (though your's worked fine). :-)

Hey mate, I"m hugely interested in the Uprev tuner. Question, have you used it? Because it's my understanding once used, it locks to that vehicle's ECU so don't think it would work if it was. I'm in Brisbane. :-)

Yep, Front is 324x 30 Rear is 322x 22.2

Common Problem. Search and you will see its a known problem as well for G35s. Floater gets covered in varnish hence gives false readings. One way of fixing is poppinng of both yourself and use cotton buds to clean it a few times. Clean both senders. If it works then yay, if not new senders would be the way to go. I haven't heard that the gauges themeselves having a known issue. :-)

Fair call that makes sense. I didn't realise Cipher pulled the ECU number but I see what your saying. :-) Lol you were right, I took out some of the numbers and mananged to figure it out. I got the ECU number, its 10 Characters long.. apparently $1721 USD (not that I'm buying lol) .

Maybe I just fail actually... I also didn't realise that CIPHER could pull the data. I remember when I was on their site when I first got the V, in their FAQ it mentions that to get the ECU number, find someone with CIPHER which will give the VIN and contact your local Nissan/Infiniti dealer. Obviously things have changed since then and maybe the website needs updating? I tried EPC Data and no results found for my VIN. All good though, I probably won't get this for awhile anyways. :-)

Lol just noticed your post after I did mine. Question for you. I know Uprev requires the ECU Number which Nissan can retrieve from the VIN. Did you have to give your ECU Number? I ask because I'm pretty sure Nissan Australia won't be able to give me the ECU Number being an importn which means I have to contact Nissan Japan. Did you have any troubles?

If your referring to Uprev. Osiris Tuner is $700 (this one allows you tune your car yourself). Osiris Standard is $500 (Uprev themselves do the tuning and mail it out and you can update it via PC) Osiris Flash $300 (You mail in your ECU and they do magic and send it back)

^^ Correct, this activates the auto side mirror down for when you reverse. You can turn it off or on. It is intergrated into the factory alarm (i.e optional). :-)
