Yeah photoshop is soooo complicated. Like im good with editing the things i already have, but not too great with creating things, and the whole airbrushing thing is way too complicated but id love to know how to do it. Ha i already have a dodgy copy at home. My auntie actually bought it when she gave me this laptop so iv currently got CS2 on my Mac. Ha yeah Photoshop is quite expensive to buy. But yeah, learning to use it properly is going to be tough haha. Its ridiculously detailed haha.

Hey thanks heaps for the kind words I really appreciate it. I only shot half of those photos RAW, the other half just normal. And photoshop use is quite limited, only changing levels. Apart from that - nothing else has been edited. Yeah sending photos into car magazines sounds like a great idea. I hadn't actually thought about it, but if it could get a lil extra cash in my pocket im all for it haha. Best thing about it would be getting paid for something i LOVE doing, which is always a bonus. Yeah a few mates want me to take photos of their cars, and they aren't anything flash either. I'm thinking of maybe making myself a website, showcasing my best works, or something along those lines. Get my work out there a bit Im thinking for meet spot of cruise - possibly near Marion. Do people know where the Marion Cultural Centre building is on Diagonal Rd (the really ugly looking one haha). Maybe in that carpark...or like the marion side of the building because there wont be many cars at Marion at say 11am. And then from there head down the coast. What do people think? ANy particular coast spots that people know of that are good to stop at?

Hey everyone - just an update. Cruise will most probably still be going ahead for August 3rd, route is currently being planned. Its hard though cos i need to decide on stops that have a good backdrop for the photos. Im thinking half hills/half coast but just have to figure out an easy way to do it. If anyone has any good spots they know shout em out, give us some variation. Also did a couple of shoots yesterday. One with an S15, which wasn't really that great because he was missing the front bar. Then with an R34 and a 300zx. Took single shots and joint ones. And also went to OzCarImport's place out at Gepps Cross and took an array of other photos of cars. - few 34's, 33, vr4's and a white stagea. Was a busy day haha. Here are some pics...just to show what yours will turn out like if i take some haha Let me know what you think. Cheers! :D

The springs in my Laser were chopped when i bought it So I did the right thing and bought proper lowered ones. Pretty good and only about half an inch higher than having chopped springs!

a couple from a houseboat trip a couple of years ago. First one is my dad's mate's RC speed boat. Second is another of dads mates, wakeboarding....and yes hes wearing a mask in the first half haha. But he stacked and it came off.

I have a 1991 KF Laser Ghia, not the TX3 version, but exactly the same except mine doesnt have turbo, and has 4 doors. They are great cars, go really well, and not too expensive to fix either. That is unless you are like me and want 17" rims, lowered suspension and a nice sound system haha. Nah but just IMO, i'd rather go a KF than a KE, but thats just me. And fordlaser.com is a great forum for all your Laser needs

Don't worry mate, as i said above, everyone who gets their car photographed WILL get a cd with them on it. I ain't that stingy haha And plus, its always good to have some nice pics of your car Would you happen to be free on the 3rd of August at all, for this cruise i am organising? Would love for ya to come out in one of your cars, and i may possibly organise with ya some other times to take pics of your other cars aswell?

Ahh thats ok. Um weekend isn't good for me - Im working both days, all day and then next week i have Year 12 exams, my last one being wednesday morning. So i have Wednesday arvo, Thursday and Friday off next week. And then on the next weekend, working all day Sat and then free Sunday afternoon, after 3pm. So yeah we shall have to figure something out. Me texting you when I'm free doesn't seem to be working out haha When are you free out of those times? Cheers.

Reading the Autosalon thread...i don't think that rules out many cars, with no SAU display? Although I'm sure a few will go in as individual cars. Ok well i shall see what sort of response i get, otherwise, could possibly make it even the Sunday after Autosalon? (17th)?

Ok, because its so hard to get individuals out on specific days, I'm proposing a date for a cruise to be organised by me (with some help ha), which goes to a few different locations which would be good photo backdrops. The date I'm proposing is Sunday, 3rd of August, & will be an afternoon cruise as photos are easier to take in natural lighting Is that date a problem at all, like does it clash with anything? More details will be posted soon. Interested? Cheers.
