so is it a matter of replacing the whole alternator or is it just a part of the alternator that needs replacing?

so test it with a multimeter ? might have to take it to a workshop as i dont have a multimeter lol

Hey All for some reason my battery is over volting causing battery acid to leak in the boot i dont know what could be causing this or what the solution is , ive removed the battery and cleaned out the boot with baking soda to rid the acid but this is the 3rd battery its done this to does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? i dont wanna go buy a new battery to have it explode a day later .... cheers heaps !
