  1. i found some connectors and repaired the wiring harness (n16 pulsar with the 1.8 litre motor has the exact same connerctors) but still no change. it has a stock ecu and is running stock boost so i am starting to lean towards a management issue. whats a cheapish way around the problem as i am planning on selling the car and don't want to spend mega bucks on something that im not going to use but i still want it to be fixed properly
  2. thanks for the tips. i pulled the coil harness out and one of the plugs fell apart in my hand so i need to repair or replace that item. any ideas where to buy the connectors or a complete harness???
  3. hello, i have a problem with my s1 r33 skyline. It has a pod filter, front mount intercooler and 3 inch cat back exhaust apart from that i think everything else is stock. when i start driving in the mornings or when the engine is cold everything is fine, makes good power all the way to 7000 rpm but by the time the engine has got to normal operating temp it feels like its misfiring from 3000 to 5000, then is ok to 7000rpm. Even driving normally under light throttle it will feel like its misfiring as soon as the revs get close to 3000. It has new plugs gapped to 0.8 and brand new coils (superspark) and the injectors have been cleaned and tested. would really appreciate any help or advice
  4. its obvious that you want to be running a richer than stoich when your producing bulk power but the numbers these guys are talking about are ridiculous. these guys still need to find out what the stoich afr is and then go and re-check your figures and then maybe you can pull your dicks out of each others asses finally
  5. what exactly is a 'noob'? or are you just guessing that its a word just like you are guessing about what the tune for this car should be. its pretty easy for all you guys to hang shit on people for doing their job when its possible you wouldn't know one end of spanner from the other
  6. ok. i've checked out both the original power graph and the new one. even on the old graph the car still wasn't running lean. i think its amazing that all you armchair mechanics can pass all these comments without even seeing the car or working on it to know what its doin and what power its making in relation to air/fuel and boost pressure. maybe you guys hould think less about how much boost pressure its making and be more concerned about the power output!!!!!
