Hi John, Well I'm sure our car was a lot cheaper than most of the car in superlap I have no doubt that Peter and Tim would have got into the 1:09s if we put new slicks on. We were both running on well used tyres and new ones are worth 2 seconds easy. Which is why I am hoping that the new R tyres will see us on similar pace to last weekend. See you at Oran!

Why not? In the past we have found the cars laps close on R tyres to slicks. Remember it is hard to buy a slick that is ideal for such a light car. Have a look at AutoSalon SCOTY 2006. We won that too.

BTW, our Lotus Elise HPE (Honda Powered Elise) is road registered and uses a STOCK JDM K20a Honda from a wreck with a 7psi Jackson Racing supercharger. The car has passed emissions tests like this and is fully engineered. We have now conevrted 12 Lotuses to Honda power and are allowed to run in ProdSports and Aust GT. Might even drive the car to the track on the road tyres. Is there a competeitors cruise that gets there in time??
