  2. yeah thats a good price, my 040 didnt wine in my tank, now i have 044 intank and doesnt wine either, depends on the sound deadining i guess,
  3. wat ex housin on 35/40? 270kw should be easily achievable even if u go .63 ex housing..
  4. 040 will be more than enough, i'd highly recommend one. will be suitable for many mods for u to come cheers..

  8. far out u took the top part of plenum off>??? i didnt do that when i pulle dmy head off... i pulled turbo and ex manifold off completely coz its easy as to do and saves a heck of alot of weight when lifting head... once you've taken head bolts out you probably will have to pry the head loose, there bit tight on the gasket sometimes, then slowly lift it n watch for any water hoses under the plenum u might have missed...gl

  10. yeah pretty nice, fresh engines always feel so good, no when i did mine it was devine to drive, be interesting to see the potential of this setup, i'd like to know what sort of affect your cam selection of 256 in 264 ex would do for the package... im interested in these cams myself
  11. i got same manifold. will be fine, wat specs on turbo?? wat size is gate?
  12. giving u an idea, i ran my r33 gtst with similar power, 60 foot time of 2.3, et of 13.3 and termial speed of 112mph
  13. ah someone with a r33 gtst turbo box issue like me mine started off as a 3rd to 4th crunch then a sometimes 2nd to 3rd crunch, engine blew up similar time so got engine rebuilt and box reco'd at trade price from working in a mechanic shop, still cost me 1200.. box had done less than 12 months driving and same thing only this time it jumped out of 3rd gear while even lightly accelerating, pulled box out...AGAIN...cost me another 900 to fix, apparently 3rd-4th selector fork broke and this wore out something else etc.. u know what shit they dribble, anyway, my experience with the ever so apparently tough r33 box has not been goood, i had a excedy h/d in there before first rebuild then while engine and box got rebuilt i put in a hks twin plate, so far box is ok but only done 5k since been fixed...running castrol vmx 80...

  16. if the die grinder needs to be used on ex housing, is it necassary to take it off turbo before grinding??
  17. yeah i pulled my head off and left cams in, take exhaust manifold off but leave intake manifold on, well thats wat i did anyway, much easier, just a couple of water hoses under on intake man side and your away.. not hard job once u got cam belt off.. i didn't hjave those 3 extra 10mm bolts security is talking bout but did see the place where they go, make sure engine was lined up to tdc before removing cambelt, u need cam timing to be correct to get socket and extention down to headbolts.... goodluck

  20. nah they didnt advertise it at all, i had to ask if they did it, so opted to do it, coz on my rb25, im not going to outflow the comp wheel in a hurry haha so thought wat the hell.......cheers
