good mph. I ran my 33 last night at willowbank. Ran a 13.56@100mph. only got boost controller, 3 inch not got a dump pipe, and k&n pod. im happy with the time and no doubt that u will get into the low 13's dude just gotta hook up right off the line. I went down to stock wheels for the meet and when i ran my best time it hooked up well just abit of spin into second. Its all in the launch matey ive learned that. Good luck anyhow

yeah i went up to willowbank also. First time out at the track and i got 4 runs in total. Best was a 14.09@100mph. I am happy with that although i would like more traction 1st n 2nd but i had the best time. Very enjoyable pitty i got lined up with that chevy camaro with the big block in it which when racing me ran a 12 flat. And also a orange vk which ran a 12.8. So i was abit shamed out especially on the burnout sides of things. But i enjoyed myself alot.

u serious?>? 7 on factory gauge is 1 bar? shyte. Actually a dude from brag told me that i am hitting the boost cut. I turned the boost down 4 turns and it doesnt do it now but its alot slower than before/.

Hey peoples, I got a 93 r33 gtst, its got a 3 inch exhaut and a k&n pod filter among other things but they are the engine mods that im aware of. It has a greddy boost controller-just the turn dial one from in the engine bay. Whe i got it i knew that the boost was tweaked abit and have since been playing with it abit. I was having problems with it and people have told me that what im experiencing is boost cut!!! If i was cruizing along in 3rd at round 60 and then plant it once it hits between 3 and 4 grand it jolts and comes good then jolts and so on. So i turned the boost down 2 notches and tried again, still happening, so another 2 notches and now it doesnt do it but there is a major difference in power now. I mean on a cold night it was pretty good at the previous boost levels aslong as i stayed above 3500rpm in 3rd 4th n 5th. So on the highway it went really well but round town i notice the stuttering more so now. I changed the plugs and put iridiums in and also changed the fuel filter. And gave it a service. I only got the factory boost gauge and was unsure of what it was running before but it used to stop at 7 but now after turning it down 4 notches it is on bout 6. Much much slower on boost now. Not happy with it and want to know if there is anyway to get around this boost cut situation without getting a front mount?

nice purchase matey. 32's have gone up in price recently i recall. Did abit of searching around and was gonna get a 32 myself but ended up getting convinced on a 33. So just purchased my 33 last tuesday and am also happy with it. Although it runs alittle funny under load. WEll congrats on now being one of the skyliner crew. Hope u have fun a play it save dude

Well i just baught my car on tuesday ad its got a greddy boost controller among other things. It reads about 6 or 7 on the "FACTORY" boost gauge. Anyone know what pound i would be running>? It definately aint running 6 or 7 coz it goes very well. Especially on cold nights. Sometimes i get a stutter at round 4 thousand revs in 4th n 5th but if i max out 3rd n then go into 4th in aint stutter at all. I tried turning the boost down, changing the plugs(iridium), fuel fitler and oil n oil filter and then resetting the ecu but the hesitation is still there. Since i put the iridium plugs in i definately noticed the difference in every day running, its smoother in its power delivery now and doesnt crackle from the exhaust under full load. But the hesitation only seems to happen every now n then. Could this come down to a silly thing like poor fuel?? I doubt it coz the only fuel i run in it is bp ultimate. My pod is dirty as hell even after blowing it out with an air blower but i am thinking it wouldnt be coz of that. It has stock turbo, stock intercooler if those stats are needed. Any help would be much appreciated

hmmm clutch drama's. I am experienceing them at the moment. Just had the car for not even a week and the clutch is slipping already. Its got a os gieken heavy duty clutch in it and the fella was like yeah so u wont have to replace it blah blah but what i dont know is how long its been in there. So yeah coming down the on ramp onto the highway this morning in 4th and the revs pick up and go down n up...shyte i think so into fifth and same deal except worse. Know of any clutch combos which will be decent?

i got a k&n pod on mine and it sounds good. I got no air feed to it though so i guess it isnt really an advantage at the moment. But the pod is clogged with dirt n stuff, even after 5 mins of blowing it out with an air blower its still dirty as hell. oh well gives others a fairer race

im having a similar problem with mine. Buts its not pinging, at least it doesnt sound like pinging from the engine its just u can hear a crackling effect under full accelaration in 2nd gear mainly and 3rd abit less. Mines a r33 gtst and has a boost controller. Just got the car on tuesday and dont want to do any damage to the motor. I tried turning the boost down afew notches but it still does it. I bought some iridium plugs for it but am yet to put them in. Hopefully that will help. Any clues?? guess u cant really help to u actually know what the noise it?

Howdi, i just bought an r33 gtst and it has afew things on it that i would like to know whether they are a bonus or not. Its got fully adjustable tein suspension, i am thinking thats a big plus?? Its also has a cusco diff, they any good>?> and it has a os geiken(spelling) heavy duty clutch. I mean while all extra on a car when u buy it are pretty much a bonus on its own i was wondering if these few things are worth getting abit more excited about. There is more stuff but there the main things. Feedback would be good thanx

yeah mick is working at that place down south. Sub zero is still open up here and is still doing well as far as i know. always got cars out the front. Mick wasnt head mechanic, qualified plumber from what i heard. Tinkered around with skylines abit and learned off others.

Well if i get the car on friday then yes. I will come online friday night and update u of the situation, but ima hell keen to go for a cruize. The car hasnt be registered in aus before so im hell keen to take it for a road trip to get it settled in.

could also be coil pack/s?? Could be overheating? 15 mins is enough time for one or more to cool down enough to start again? Do u run the cover that goes over the coil packs?

yeah well i was trying to get warm, i had track pants, a shirt and a jumper on and socks n slippers and i was still shivering. I got into bed with all that gear on minus the slippers and i was still shivering mind u the shivering did slowly minimise to nothing after about an hour of being in bed. But then u get the reverse effect.... I woke up later on and it felt like i went from normal temp to boiling in about 5 seconds
